Reason to Believe Scott match affects stats

First i'd like to say that I don't think it affects your agility, mentality, or aggression (per se)

But after having two different BAL characters and the way their stats have started out with both being CMs I think it does.

My Reasons:
First I've heard that most people start with low stamina ratings, but they also run their players ragged often leaving them exhausted by the end of the game. Both players I've created have had green stamina left after the scout game and one had 84 and the other 87 for stamina.

Secondly, my first CM had pretty bad passing stats but in that game it was my first game ever and i maybe completed 60% of my passes. He also had 3 shots and all of them were on target which game him two shooting stats in the high 60s and one at 71.

My second CM went 37/39 in passes in the game and had an assist and for my 4 passing stats 3 of them are at 70 and one is at 69. but my shooting stats are 59, 60, and 65, and i think thats because i had 3 shots and they were all off target.

To me it seemed like the way he played in that game led to which stats started higher than others. Can any one say for or against this with any evidence. I guess what i'm looking for is someone who scored a goal or two in their scout game and their shooting stats were still in lower 60's, or someone who passed 50% and still recieved passing stats in high 60s or low 70s.

Probably should have said that I was playing on PS3 since the "strengthen" aspect is different on each game.

I would also like to mention that it's not his height and weight that I think affect his stats, but rather how they play in the scout game.

the Stamina thing.. i didnt understand m8... i made a 3 or 4 players in BAL.. and i remember i emptied the stamina bar all times... the highest one was 82 my first player.. and my last player got 74..am not sure tho WHEN they emptied out..
I always had high dribble speed.. around 8x something and agility around 74-78(highest i got) my passing and shooting was approximately the same with all players (i made around 20-30 passes and i guess i was around 60-80% correct and shooted a lot) best stat i got was shooting power 69 and the others were around 60-69 lowest was pass speed 58

You kind of confirmed a lot of my points. I don't know if you with the stamina bar on or not, but I do an it lets you know how much stamina your player has left. (with the last part being red so you know your guys is tired).

You said that your guy was always finished with an emptied bar and you never had a guy over 82. I said that I always had a lot of stamina left and my two guys had 84 and 87 for stamina.

The other stuff doesn't really prove one way or the other, unless you want to say that if you played almost the same every time your stats should almost always be close to each other.

I guess what i'm looking for is if anyone paid attention to what stats were better than others after the scout game and if they correllated to how you played.

You shoot bad=bad shooter ratings
Good passes=good passer rating
You headed the ball a lot=good heading abilities.

P.S. i've found anything from 69 and higher to be a good ability to start with in BAL. 64-69 average, and 63 and lower to be poor.

Hmm. Solid theory, mate. I'll have to test it out by making a copy of my current legend (same height, weight, build, etc) to see if the stats are altered at all.

I was assuming that stats were decided by position, and perhaps fluxuated slightly by height and weight, if not simply randomly set between two points, ie; a side midfielder having pace set between say 82 and 85.

My legend started out with 86/87 stamina. I was well chuffed!
