does the 1st player automatically do the dummie? or u can shoot with him as well?

No you can shoot, pass or long pass with him too. Just hold L1 down and whatever button you want to use (shoot, long pass or normal pass) to make the other player do what you want. If you don't hold L1 down, he will dummy.
