Yo guys, first patching was for me just apply the patch with ppf-o-matic and play. But nowdays with the PC version I start to edit with AFS explorer and WEPictureDecoder, cause with the PC version you cant waste cds!
So to get to the problem, sometimes you get an error Regenerate AFS, I know you need two images of the game then (right?) and I can find the Regenerate button. But after that... I dont have a clue. So can somebody please explain how and what Regenerate is? Thank you.

Next problem :) I downloaded the ''new'' Anfield stadium of Liverpool, it looks real cool. After installing it with AFS explorer PES3 wont boot up again. I clicked on PES3.exe and absolutly nothing happend. So I thaught that was due to the fact of the new liverpool stadium (is that correct) So I thaught again ''well I just install the old Anfield'' But stupid as Im i didnt make a back-up af the old file......So could somebody please give me the old Anfield. Only when the ''new'' Anfield is the problem of dont booting up mine PES3.

Thank you for your attention and I hope someone can help me (probably Zygalski or Larsson or Jag hehe)

Cheers

Sorry, I don´t know much about the PC version, with the PS2 version regenerating always worked well for me

You always have to regenerate when you import new elements into the AFS. After importing you have to go to the advanced options, then just go to regenerate and save the new AFS to a folder, then copy this regenerated and edited AFS over the old AFS.

Something with the file structure I guess, the new imported files have always another size than the default ones, that´s why the game (either PC or PS2 version) will crash if you don´t regenerate the AFS.

Help please!!
after regenerating a new bigger data.afs, new size.afs made, how can i import it over the old data.afs in cdmage witch is the smaller one? in cdmage it says "file to import will not fit into....file will be truncated!" what to do?
do i need another tool than cdmage to import? or have i to generate a new .iso with the new bigger afs, and then from the new .iso create the .bin to burn with cdmage?? didn't find out the solution by myself.
thanx for your help!

check the "beginners editing guide" thread, I have answered a similar question there. You new AFS must not be bigger than the old one, if it is you´ve done something wrong

In the PC version it does not crash, well not for me when you don't regenrate it, and I have reserved like 20mb more space for PC version and it still works, but not for the PS2 though
