With regards to the guy from game, I wouldn't be too worried. He also told me that the people who pre-ordered the full game wouldn't get preferential treatment for getting the demo, as it "the demo" was aimed at people who had never played PES of any format, and it was meant to intice new people to buy it. When I pointed out the competition, and proposed difficulty of the demo, he said I was wrong. Then, I went in to try to buy the demo and was told they only had 3 left, as they were busy phoning the people who had pre-ordered, in a first to order first phoned kind of deal. I said what the "manager" had told me, they checked I had pre-ordered (which I had) and sold me one of their remaining copies.
The moral - don't take the word of some grunt who works in a shop, they most likely don't know or care.
