Removing Badges and importing kits in PES4

Ive recently downloaded loads of club and national teams' kits. But i encountered 2 problems. The kits are in BMP format and i used graphic studio to insert them in the game. First problem is the fluorescent bits around the collars and other areas like the bottom part of shorts. 2nd problem is the national kits badges...how do i remove those?
Thank you in advance.

P.S: Jim, i tried searching for some thread that explained how but found none.
Anyway, i'm kinda tired and 'buzzed' so I expect youll prove me wrong somehow...:)

Ok.. You're going to need to do two separate things here.

You can use waterloos tool to remove the default badges from the national kits. I just got done doing that myself last week. It's not too hard.

As far as the flourescent bits on the kits, I'm going to guess you didnt set the tranparency correctly when you imported the kits in BMP format. I've never used graphic studio to import kits so I cant give you specifics. All it should be a matter of doing (from my experience with the other tools) is poking on the flourescent color, normally green or pink and then adjusting the transparency. There will probably be a slider or a box. It should say "0" as default if you see the color on the kits in game. All you need to do is move hte slider to the far right (if it's on the left) or change the number from 0 to like 128.

There is a ton of good info and instructions on editing/pathcing pes on Ajay's site. http://pes4.edgegaming.com/ This is where I got the info on how to remove the intl badges from btw.

Take alook over there and if you have any more questions I'll try to help as best I can.

Peace out...

I have browsed Ajay's site before but somehow overlooked this tut you talk about.
Youre right about the transparency.
Many thanks, brotha. That was mighty helpful.

Glad to help out. ;>

If you haven't found the info for the international kits/badges here it is:

http://pes4.edgegaming.com/editshirtnames.html

Just follow this basic guide and once you have the param_dat.bin_000 file open click the button in the lower right corner that says "Change National teams to No Badge sytle".

If you have trouble with this you can pm me and I can probably help you out with a param_dat.bin file you can just insert into your 0_TEXT.AFS file via AFS Explorer.

Peace out...

Thank you so much for posting this thread, I have been after this for about a week.

My classic teams kits look amazing now, thanks again.

Hmm...... I've never been comfortable using AFS explorer. If anyone wouldn't mind editing my param_dat.bin, so that I don't have International badges. I'm not sure whether is matters what patch you use, so what kits in changes, so I attached my file to this thread. Or like you said Logarth, could you just send me your param_dat.bin.

It would be much appreciated if someone could do it for me, or help me out.

Doesn't matter now. I've sorted it out.

Anyone else have any trouble removing the badges from their International kits, simply overwrite the attached file onto param_dat.bin, into your 0_text.afs, and it should work fine.
