Resident Evil 4

I just want to see who has this game, because in my opinion it's one of the best games ever made, yet not much has been said about it. And I just want to know what people think of it.

incredible saga, resindent evil is definitly the game wich all other horror 3rd person shooter should be judged, specially res evil 1 for ps1, havent played anything similar as it due to its exciment and the horror it provoked you, taking in count i played it when i was 11, 10 years old at that time

Resident Evil 4 just makes the other games so limited, like customising guns and other stuff, being able to carry more than 2 herbs and a gun. It's amazing.

I havent played it yet waiting for it to come out for the PS2, in December i think it sounds very good.

I got the game on the release date (friday) and I completed it yesterday (tuesday) I found it amazing, full of great puzzles, smart Zombies and great bosses.
The graphics are fantastic, so is the gamplay, Resident Evil has to be one of the greatest genre's of games I have played. Great game definatly a big seller.

omg, now that ive read this thread many memories came back to me, like when you got palid and felt that cold going down your spine when the giant cobra appeared infront of you in RE 1, or when you got all nervous and scared when in the final of RE 1 the "tyrant" was chasing after you and if you lost a second to turn or aim he chopped you apart with those claws, or when nemesis on RE shoots the chopper down with his bazooka, really this game saga is amazing, pitty that after re 3 some ideas stop beign for originals and future sequels where not as good as the first 3. anyway hope RE 4 is as good as them

Even though it's the worst game of the series, Resident Evil 3 was the scariest, with Nemesis following you the whole time.

RE 4 is amazing, and the graphics must be the best ever seen in a videogame!
Highly recommend, especially for the fans

my 2nd favourite game series of all time, first has to be metal gear. i completed re 1,2,3 and cv but can't get my hands on re 0 and the remake of re 1. i'm waiting for re 4 to come out on ps 2, heard that it's an absolute hit and revives the series. how is the game anyway? to those who have or completed it? scary?

It's amazing, one of my favourite games, completed it, and it's not really that scary. But make sure you also get the Re-make and RE 0, they're also amazing. And if you have a GameCube, get it on that, on PS2 apparently they've had to downgrade the graphics a lot, and still only manage to fit it on 4 discs. :tongue:

yea RE 2 was probably the best of the series. re 3 was a big disappointment but a lil scary with nemisis chasing you all over the place.

anyway the movie was OK, i'd wish they had use more original characters like leon, claire, chris, rebeca, wesker, etc instead of that annoying alice.

what about resident evil outbreak? i didn't finish it cause it got boring after a while, some puzzles are really hard aswell, but it's concept is really great, so that's why i am waiting for resident evil 4, there is also a resident evil outbreak file 2 anyone heard of it?

Game of the year so far IMO. Takes a while to adjust from previous Resi Evil games but well worth putting time into.

And the Chicago Typewriter... OH BABY!!

If I could be bothered *and was good enough* I'd get the Hand Cannon! Bang Bang! It's firepower is 99.9, and it even shakes when Leon is holding it beacause it's that powerful. But to unlock it you need to get 5 star on every character in mercenary(sp?). :tongue:

im finding hard to get all the copies of resident evil on the gamecube because they are sold out on play and most other websites anyone no were i could get them excluding ebay?
