Did you know that you kick SOOOO much harder if you press and hold up on either analog sticks before and during a freekick instead of the direction buttons??

With this trick i've even tried to score once on a freekick by shooting past the wall - aiming to the same side as the keeper was standing!!! It was with Mihajlovic from LAZIO - but i think it might be "easier" with Roberto Carlos.

But if you press down with the analog sticks on a freekick, the kick's going to be ULTRA slow and totally worthless - unless you kick freekicks in UMBRO challenge - then it's much easier to hit the targets spot on.

If you hold down on the direction buttons before and during a kick - it's also going to become slower and easier to control - but still not as slow as if you used the analog sticks.

CHEERS MATES!!! AND MAY LAZIO BEAT THE ****** OUT OF JUVENTUS THIS WEEKEND!!! :D

I haven't heard of using the right stick for free kicks. Are you sure it works?

Holding down for free kicks is only good if you are very close to the area and I've scored loads like this, against people as well as the CPU.
Otherwise you will kick it too fast, into the wall or too high over the goal.

Mihajlovic's free kick accuracy is second only to Beckham so he is always useful, especially as he is left-footed.

The left stick is more sensitive to pressure. as aresult you can controll how much under or over the spot the player strikes.

Hold slightly back close to the box to lift it just over the wall. But too much and it just sucks.

hold it a little up and it'll be alittle lower trajectory. Handy for long rangers.

Back and to the left.
it would be hard to tell how hard a guy like carlos kicks the ball because his shot power is like 99, try it with someone else for a more accurate test.
