When should I select a ball? And do the different colour balls produce better players? Im confused...

Does not matter when you select the ball for some reason you always get the 6th ball.

Best ball is Black then Gold, silver, copper, white...

Yes they say if you stack agents you get a better chance but Iv'e not noticed it much to be honest. If you spend 10000 GP on top agent you will get a guaranteed gold ball with a chance to get black.

The colours are based on player ratings

Black = 80+

Gold = 75-80

Silver = 70-75

Copper = 65-70

Silver = 50+
