I bought an S-Video cable and attached it to a special scart which has an s-video socket (my tv has no s-video socket)however the picture on the tv is not as smooth as it is on my laptop screen, it is very unclear and blurry, with streaky lines. I tried changing pal to ntsc and the lines disappeared but the picture became more blurred. I have also tried changing the screen resolution from 1024 x 768 to 800 x 800 but nothing makes the picture quality better.

Normal televisions only have a 640x480 resolution, unless you have a HD ready Plasma/LCD TV you are stuck at that pretty much.

well... a TV if it's not digital.. it looks horrible... like blurry shte... nothing you can really do about it.. it's normal for me...
