This year all they have done is fixed it and put a new glossy coat of paint over it.

PES2009 is better than FIFA08...but not a fucking patch on FIFA09

How can you claim this until the full game is out.

Christ its only a day out and everybodys fuckin whinging about the demo.In all the pro's i played 1-6 there was a teething process.Everytime i got the the new game i was like this is shit and then you twig it and then is the best ive ever played.I have always needed to play at least 30 or 40 games to get the flow of the game and the more i play this the better is becomes.Ive been playing on top player and it was painfull at first but so was 2,3,4,5 and 6 but im now played about 50 times i becoming accustomed to the way it works and its pretty cool if you ask me.

One thing has come from playing pro is you have to give it a good crack before you pass judgement learn the game and then you get the rewards.

Why oh why do so many people on here post comments like Fifa 09 better than blah blah it's your opinion that it's better, not fact, so please at least say I THINK it's better. That's like me saying Fruit Mentos FTW better than Mint ones no doubt, but others might prefer the mint ones, so please have a little courtesy to other peoples preferences

Yeah it's at a GOOD pace for ACTUAL football, but maybe not to everybodies tastes. Seriously though, how many times have you seen a big match get built up like it gonna be the best ever, like say Liverpool vs Man United, then it turns out to be a boring 0-0 draw with defenders on top, thats the way the PES demo plays quite a bit, so I'd say realism is right up there, it's not like every team in reality plays fantasy football.

I'd like to have a bash, could you upload those programmes ASAP.
I think I'll start by making the players move realistically, then i will take some poundage off Ronaldo so he doesn't look like a generic chunky tevez/rooney with a different head. Konami have not put the effort in it's obvious and disappointing...no one can deny this. This game should have come on so much by now but hasn't at all. used to play PS with my Bro on Ps1 and PS2 and used to think how great it would be to play online against other players around the world and dream how great it would be on PS3 the level of realism and all the things that could be honed and polished...oh the letdown

Yh the matches play very realisticly which i love but for me what makes pes pes is the shooting. It has always been that for me but its so hard to get a shot off atall from outside the box because the defence is too good no matter what i try unless its on the break. I dont think im alone in this but i feel like i have to contantly play like arsenal trying to walk it into the net because shooting from distance is soo bloody hard. Thats not how i play atall. Im a dribbler and this game is designed to piss people like me off. Even if i was controling the ball with a Challenger 2 tank i'd still get out muscled by the likes of xavi. Its so frstrating because if you go anywhere near any1 with the ball they'll win it off you in a heartbeat.Online will save this game. I cant express that enough

I have just played the demo and have to say that it is already better than pes08.

I have played Fifa 09 today and thought it is shit! Ive never seen what folk go on about with fifa - The game play is jerky and does not flow smoothly and the passing is terrible.

PES09 already plays better and its just the demo version so cant wait for the proper game to come out. Its like other demos of pes, the first time you play it, it takes a bit of getting used to but it flows and the play is smooth and when you do score it feels like you have achieved something unlike fifa where you can shoot from anywhere and score any old way - where is the fun in that!??!

PES offers a better harder challenge and more realistic play and looks better - fact!

PES has always been far better than Fifa and always will be and is even better once patched!

Anyone who begs to differ can go and play shitty fifa if you want - after all this is a PES forum not a fifa one so don't let anyone stop you!!

You can be critical yes pes 2010 has to be another big improvement but PES 2009 is fine and i am sure its alot better than FIFA (any1 for zombie soccer, big over muscley and sweaty mind you, under-rated and over-rated stats, hit a button takes 5 seconds before responding, tiny numbers and huge names on back of shirts UUUURRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!

Actually I have - its game play is too slow and does not flow so its jerky, graphics are blocky, pitches/stadiums look wrong in terms of size content and the passing is terrible and not responsive enough. Also you get no sense of achievement by shooting from anywhere and scoring almost everytime - where is the fun in that!?

I can "make comments such as those" because as I CLEARLY stated in my previous post I have played the new fifa full game - and compared to the demo of pes it is not good as per my points - poor reaction time with passing, poor passing full stop! I could go on ...........................

So CLEARLY you are the one who does not know what you are talking about sweet heart!

Again im not interested if you think fifa is better as this is a pes site - CLEARLY you are deluded!
