Score direct from a corner!

This is probably old news to some of you PESGuru's but here ya go!

Just scored direct from a corner, with Beckham!
What I think you have to do is:
1) Use a player with good curling stats
2) Use player who's foot will naturally curl toward goal, ie left-footer on the right, & vice-versa.
3) Aim just slightly away from the goal (a bit closer to goal than you'd think).
4) Press & hold :R1:
5) Aim diagonally up & left on the d-pad if corner on left, up & right if from the right.
6) Fill the power bar to about 1/2 with :circle:

I hit the post/cross-bar several times before actually scoring.

....Ahem.... :eek:
I also cheated, by swapping over the player control, from P1 to Com & back again, to get more corners in exhibition mode...I can't seem to score direct in training mode! :confused:

I spent ages in training earlier trying to score from a corner but I didn't get one!

I'll give your method a go next...

Always been something I want to do.

Imagine if you so good at it,

everytime you win a corner it's like a penalty,

and the keeper can't manual dive :D :D :D

...erm not exactly that easy!
1 goal from about 30 or 40 attempts. It's easier to do the halfway line lob-thing, well for me, anyways.

Edit:
Just done it again (in training) with Becks.
This time just under 1/2 power, same method as above.
Even if you don't score direct, if you hit the woodwork, most of the time you can score off the rebound. :cool:

I've done it loads of times. After you first time you will know where to face and how hard to hit it. I managed last night to get the ball to roll across the bar and off the othe side:p

Yeah, if you start hitting the x-bar, you're on the right road, just lower the power.
If you keep hitting the near post, just increase power very slightly.
As I said, you only have to move the aim very slightly (couple of small taps) away from the keeper, then curl it back in.
The :R1: & diagonal forward/goalward on the d-pad should keep it lowish, so you won't get the problem of the keeper tipping it over all the time.

im always shootin from corners now. last nite i scored twice wiv carlos. he's the best at em.the first time i did it..kinda didn't really count as a direct shot.. i beat the keepa n defenders it was goin straight in from the corner when............my bloody attacker (can't remember who) did a diving header..right wen the ball was half way across the line and counted as his goal..........i still saved it though
