Score from most corners in PES5

I worked out a little trick to score from corners in PES5 which sometimes works. It is unique to PES5 in that you have to play the corner along the ground.

Long pass accuracy and speed is probably important but watch your guys in the box closely from where you stand at the corner. Generally, 1 or 2 of them will try to get to the front (From where you are looking). When you see this, hold down on directional button and give it some serious power. Keep holding down until he's actually kicked it, to send it fizzing at grass height toward the front of the pack.

Now, to make sure, hold super cancel and literally drag a player from the crowd toward the ball. Press square to about half power, or just under, and direct it far post.

It won me the div 2 cup in my first season in the very dying seconds of 1st half extra time. Silver goal me up.

Try it, it doesn't work every time but 90% of the time you will get your man to the ball first, at his feet, in the 6 yard box. That can't be bad.

Good tip that is. another way to maximise corners is to aim a 1/4 power corner cross to roughly the edge of the 6 yard box (left footer taking corners on the right & vice versa) and curle the ball as much as you can away from goal. usually evaids the flapping keeper if he has the balls to come to it and allows a you to score top volley into the near post or creates mad scramble in the mixer, begging for a punt into the virginal net.

I find corners are much easier to score on pes5, which is great, and they seem to be a bit harder to defend.
I try to cross it in taking the power bar up to 1/4 of the way, and 9/10 i get an attempt on goal wether it be a volley or a diving header.

I think short corners can work quite well, as more often than not the oppositions defenders will spread out and leave one of your players unmarked.

I love that line.

I just try and drop it in to the little space at the front post. Always seems to be there and if you have a player to get in there, almost always guaranteed to score.

Good tip that! Although, I think the Computer's AI has already figured that one out.

The majority of the goals that I conceed when playing against the computer are from corner kicks

Great tip, and its good to see that ground crosses actually work now. I also find it very easy to score from the corner if u fill the gauge to abt 3/4 full, instead of only 1/2 full. Press forward to give it more power (and lower trajectory) and I score many corners this way.
