Hi there,

I have been playing WE 7 for a while.

Oh zygalski the goalies keep sucking man even on the manual thing.

There was a funny thing yesterday:

I was playing international cup with Argentina vs Senegal.
Diop scored against me and ran towards the corner flag and started dancing with his other teammates.
This was so funny to see.
Does anyone know how you can create a player who will dance after scoring a goal??
Cos this was just too funny :D

The keepers do suck at times. Best not to bring them rushing out I think.

I believe only certain African players do this dancing celebration and there probably isn't a way to make someone else do this. Seems like a team thing rather than an individual thing.

I've seen Senegalese players doing the dance on their own. Pape Sarr scored for Lens in a game I was playing, ran to the corner flag and started to do his jig, all by his lonesome. Kinda sad, really, that nobody even bothered to join him or congratulate him.

Mboma has almost certainly retired from international football IRL and I think he's left Parma. .. He may be playing in Saudi Arabia or Qatar or maybe his homeland but i doubt he will be in pes3

i certainly hope so, foe and mboma were 2 of my favorite players in pes2 and highly underrated in my opinion.

Yeh and Eto'o - the cameroonian pace is quite awesome. Olembe is it? very quick player -- just signed for loans united aswell

Did Eto'o move to Valencia in the summer or did it fall through eventualy? I have a feeling it fell through cos they bought Ricardo Olivera from Santos instead

r the goalkeepers really that bad on pes3/we7 because the goalkeepers on pes2 r quite good-i am quite good at bring goalie out(keeping fingure on /\ and then letting go when i want him to save it)so is it any diffrent?

The new keepers seem to let in some simple shots so it's hard to say at the moment. Bringing them out with /\ is as good as giving away a goal almost all the time. There is a new option in the controller select screen than allows you to have full control of the keeper if you want to make a save yourself but I haven't used it yet as I don't know everything about it yet.

The goalkeepers are one of WE7's upsets, to tell you the truth. Most of the animations are horrible. Firstly, I hate how they do a star jump for headers not that far away from them. Sure, it would be a good animation if heading from point-blank range but from far back, it just seems poor, like they've sprung off a newly aquired trampoline. The same applies to close-range ground shots. The keeper always does this pre-determined bend-knees-hands-spread-out dive which, while looking unrealistic, is 99% of the time, useless.

Another annoying bug is their incapability to handle the ball from a tame (VERY tame) bouncing header. Everything seems to be going fine until they apparently slip on a banana peel, fall to the floor, and loosely parry the shot away usually into the path of a striker who then proceeds to boot it in comfortably.

And lastly, I dislike how there seems to be an invisible box around the 18-yard box. It's unrealistic how the keeper can just snag it from the air as it's passing by and his momentum does not take him outside the box. They could remove the invisible box and add a more waited animation where they don't jump so quickly as a possible improvement.
