ok, i am pretty much fed up with trying to get this special ability, scored 5 games in a row in the league, cup and european championship and still no star.....is there something i'm missing? what are the full detailed requirements for this ability? attack level, shot acc level, position constraints? going to go insane soon.

I scored 16 goals in the first season and the ability wasn't given to me. Maybe it depends on what season you're in?

i'm starting to think that the game just hates me, i even tried switching the game to easy for a season so i could score like mad and get it, but still nothing:crymore:

I THINK IT DEPENDS ON THE SEASON. YOU HAVE TO BE IN YOUR 3RD SEASON.

In the game itself I haven't seen many, if any players who are CMFs and have the scoring special ability. It may be that CMFs can't get it (?).

Shaun7 16 goals first season? wow thats incredible... and Blugh I'm pretty sure only Forwads can get the Scoring special ability. Not sure if you have to start out as a Forward, or if you can still get the Star by eventually learning to be a Forward even though you started off as say a CMF. Its in the BAL strength charts Post, under the strengthen table, theres a table showing the requirements for the Special abilities (Stars), and it says that the Scoring ability is only awarded to Forwards...

If you're playing on PS2, forget it. You won't get it even after 1000 goals...

Even if you get it, it wont mean you score more goals, the scoring star just means that if a player is COM controlled then they are more likley to shoot than pass

This probably won't make you feel any better by I got a scoring star after my 1st season. I scored 21 goals in 46 games and when I checked my stats at the end of the season, there it was :) I play 'SS' (but they played me as a CF) so it may depend on your position.

I beleive its depending on how many goals you score per game, not through out the seasn. Asi in hat tricks

My player got it after three seasons, none with particularly high goal returns. Not really sure what you need to get it, my player is an SS and at the time probably only had 75 for shot technique and accuracy!

I got it in my 1st season on Top Player. I think you have to be a WF/SS/CF as your starting position, as other friends have midfielders who haven't attained that ability.

You have to score for 5 league games in a row to get it for sure - it's how I got mine. And it makes a difference in my opinion - I receive more passes clean through, and he tends to finish more chances.

yes superbeard by hell it makes a differnce your team-mates actually realise hang on a minute i pass to him he will score:lol:

Exactly! :D

I started banging them in when I got that star - before that getting to two goals was really hard as he wouldn't finish chances ever.

Does anyone have info of what sort of growth you get from the age of 23? As I have 7 stars now, I'm not sure whether it's worth going for the others available, or trying to max out my dribbling stats.
