about time the dobber sorted the online shambles that was pes2008, even though if the transfers arent up to date in pes2009 we will still be playing an outdated game on the day of release, irrespective of whether the online shit is fixed or not!!:realmad::fplm::fplm:

He is full of it I bet anything it's laggy as fook still. If he was really bothered about online he could have added some decent features. No one can deny that fifa pisses all over it this year in the online stakes, no one who has actually played fifa online anyway

here here. In every review the game its focused on the online aspects of the game and it makes me sick. Online this, online that its get on my tits:realmad:. For me the fundamental joy of playing pes is in single player mode and sometimes against human counterparts.

thats pathetic that it is set to amateur. In your opinion is top player enough of a challenge with so called average teams against the computer as in master league i am usually lazio, Villarreal, spartak, napoli.

Why does it matter whether it's set to amateur online? You're playing against humans! Only difference is the keepers surely.
Online is what it is about... I can't bear playing single player mode against the computer find the games to be so boring. I actually don't think I played a single game on PES2008 that wasn't online or against a mate. I think i enjoy online PES alot because I'm a competitive person, theres nothing better then beating a real person and proving your better at PES then people from all over the UK and Europe. Theres nothing better than beating guys from Germany, France, and Holland at ungodly hours of the early morning :lol: and for them to say your one of the best players I've ever played against.
I think your in a minority of PES gamers on your feelings towards Online play... but I can't argue with your opinion fella.

Errmmm no.
In case u weren't aware, there are 22 players on the park and in a 2 player game. Humans only have control of two of them at any one time. All the runs and player positioning is carried out by the games AI.
The skill level makes almost a big a difference to the game in multiplayer mode as it does in single player mode.

Seriously if online doesnt work how it should people will give up on pro evo. its bullshit and reminds me of tightass bean counting accountants telling them they will save money if they dont persue fixing the problem because everyone plays the game just for the Master League.

so ur playing online as lets say west ham
ur defending with someone running towards you, and your controlling upson
who controls the other players around u an makes them move and get into positions???
They dont all just stand still and wait for u to click on them an move them around, the computer does it, the computer has control of every other player until u click on them (and even if u press square for close down, the computer still does that for u!)
on the lowest level they are poor, an if someone makes a good run the computer hardly does anything
if you could hire the level of the game then it would make online play alot better as it would make the keepers better an the over all AI better!
Oh an calling someone a prick online just because they had a valid point just makes you seem stupid, as you cant argue your point without being insulting

Oh yes!!! Not that I don't like winning but going unbeaten through out the whole season, only conceding 9 goals in the league on top player, gets a bit boring!!
I will give on-line a go, surely it has to be better than PES08.
Really looking forward to the 'Become a legend' feature.
