Serious problems for PS2 version of PES 2009

Is anyone else having any of these problems with the game:

-Game freezing when trying to return to League or Cup menu following a match
-Players that were recently substituted suddenly appear back on the pitch with their substitutes back on the bench and unplayable

I have a pre ordered PS2 version of the game so Im just wondering if this is an issue with the game itself or with my PS2. Thanks all

Well i got mine through pre-order and haven't had any these problems. Maybe your disc is just faulty, Try looking on the disc under a bright light.. You might not be able to see any visible scratches but there could be laser scratches!

I've had this issue twice. Sub someone, then later they reappear on the pitch and the players you brought on for them are now "blacked out". And going to the main menu after the match just leads to a black screen. I've also had it freeze when going to the individual player ratings after a match, which has been mentioned on this forum by a few people.

Going back to PES 2007 (which never, ever crashed or froze or anything), and I want my money back...

But now I'm used to the better gameplay of PES 2009, so great, thanks Konami with not putting much effort into the PS2 version. If you're not going to bother, don't sell it for the PS2.

the sub problem is the biggest problem on ps2...we now wait for Konami respond on this...

Has anyone simply lost their option file? I turned the game on one day and the option file was gone and 2 corrupt files appeared on the memory card.
