Can't believe this isn't a foul
Things like this happens quite often, one thing you can do is to get used to it and do not swear when it happens. CPU cheats.

cheers

Waiting....
 That happens a lot. But if you do it back to the CPU, it's usually a foul. The CPU has carried on its cheating ways from PES4.

yeah i was one nil down in a division one cup match and had a shot deflected in off the right post it rolled all the wany along the goal line and was settled next to the left post ova the line and it wasnt given the keeper just picked it up it was really wierd.... lost the cup because of that :( lol

that decision was very petty compared to mine me think..

I think they put some realism into the game when the ref is at a point where he cant or doesnt see everything, because Ive floored the computer myself and havent gotten called hehehe.

lol, PES5 does have a lot of fouling BS.

Also, how did you make it into a .wmv ?

ALL Refs are the same. My question is what's the point of having various refs if there are all the same??

Just going back to FIFA days. I remember in one of the FIFA games, I think it was FIFA 2000 or FIFA 2001 or some other FIFA game, there was a way you could increase the strickness of the referees. I wish they would have this in the Edit mode in future PES games. That would be awesome.

The WMV was made by importing the AVI file into Windows Movie Maker, included with Windows XP (Pro, at least). Then I downsized the file by reducing dimensions, sound, and changing format, so that it is more "Internet-friendly."

As to this post, I believe, if I am not terribly mistaken, that in FIFA World Cup 98 game from EA Sports started to feature the strictness editing. It is a remarkable feature that I found rather amusing that the other games, by EA or Konami, have not incorporated in more recent titles.

I hate the offside calls beyond belief. You can take a shot, have it bounce off the cross bar and then have it called offside when one of your players touches it.

I have experienced that a lot also. I missed countless scoring opportunies like this already; it sucks.

No they are not all the same, just ask the staff working on the proevolutionline.com Superpatch :)

According to the Laws of the game from www.fifa.com
A player in an offside position is only penalised if, at the moment the ball touches or is played by one of his team, he is, in the opinion of the referee, involved in active play by:

* interfering with play or
* interfering with an opponent or
* gaining an advantage by being in that position.
Also if you read more into the offside rule according to the laws of the game, you will find this
* Gaining an advantage by being in that position means playing a ball that rebounds to him off a post or the crossbar having been in an offside position or playing a ball that rebounds to him off an opponent having been in an offside position.

->>> Hmmm! I'm not so sure about that. They might change the names, faces, update the refs kits but actually change their behaviour?? I'm not so sure. Unless they have the actually gameplay editor officially from Konami, than that's a different thing.

Well have to see about this.

nt89 of the superpatch staff noted that each ref has their own attributes.
If you play a Legaue, you will notice that some refs are more lax than others. Someone on the staff of the Superpatch found how to alter the different attributes among refs. I fell that if they can make stadiums such as Allianz Arena, I have no reason to doubt they could changes the ref attributes. :)

Hey deftonesmx17, That's cool! Because everytime I play a friendly/exhibition match, all refs are the same. But, I do hope they can change the ref attributes.
