Several Questions About PES 2011 On Xbox 360

I've just purchased PES 2011 for Xbox 360, and have some questions I'd appreciate being answered. Sorry for the amount of questions, but it'd be a great help if I could have them answered:

- On Master League, when I go to "Game Plan" I'm presented with a weird looking screen I've never seen before in PES. I've no idea what my substitutes are or what my reserves are, as it doesn't say, whereas it did in previous versions of PES. I assumed they were on the left hand side of the screen, but how do I tell which of them are subs and which are reserves?

- Also, on the left hand side (1/3) of the screen there are yellow ball type icons with a white line through the middle of them, whereas some players on the left DON'T have this icon, they just have an empty circle. What is this?

- If I go to 2/3, on the left hand side of the screen there are arrow icons next to each player, all pointing in different directions & different colours. What do these mean? Also, I assume the bars underneath these arrows are their energy levels? If so, why is it I haven't played any games yet, but some of the players' energy levels are down? Is it because they're away on International duty?

- I remember on PES 2010, you could set it so that it automatically chose the best players on your team and put them into your starting lineup in their best positions. I heard you can also do this on PES 2011, but I'm not sure how. For example, I have a player who's overall rating goes up or down depending on which position I put him in, but if I wanted to put him into his BEST position, I'd have to manually move him to each position to see which gave him his best rating. I could set it so that it did this automatically with all players in PES 2010, but I'm not sure how to on PES 2011. You could set your team to play the BEST players, a balance of decent players with decent energy levels, or just your players who have the highest amount of stamina.

- And finally, you could also set it in PES 2010 so that once a player reaches a certain amount of tiredness on the pitch, it would automatically substitute that player. How do I do this? I went to "Auto Trigger Setting" and saw "Substitutions" but don't know the differences between Very Late, Late, Flexible etc.

Thank you very much for any help!

Your second point answers the first one.
The Players with color are the subs.
The ones without color are the reserves.

You can do what you say on the other questions, just have in Quick Settings (or something like that, I have mine in Spanish) but it is right before the option to have it Manual, when it say leave to the manager (Offensive), Leave to the manager (defensive) and such, there should be an option before Manual, and there you choose your settings.

OK I see the manual thing, but where do I go from there? I don't know how to set it so that it puts the best players into the squad automatically.

Also, what is the difference between flexible, late, very late etc in the substitutions?

Thanks.

If you choose any of the 'Leave it to manager' options then your formation and line-up is picked automatically to suit the setting you chose - offensive/defensive. If you want the game to choose the players in their best positions then choose 'Simple settings' and go from there, you will first have the option of picking your formation then when you've chosen that you have the option of the computer picking your players based on ability, form and another option I forget right now. If you want to tinker with your formation further then it's as simple as choosing the player and moving him around where you want him, then if you want to change his position press X and choose 'Select role' to change the position.

Also the bit where you see players on the left with empty circles and players with colours, the players with empty circles are going to be your reserves. If you are doing this just before a game the ones with solid colours on them will be your final line-up of subs, with the grey ones staying behind.

Regarding your bit about flexible, late and all that, that's the point in the game the CPU makes your subs for you. Flexible being anytime in the game and the rest you can figure out.

And finally the arrows are the players' form. Green (arrow pointing directly left) means the player will perform perfectly to his ability; no more, no less. Anything pointing upwards means he gets a boost in abilities and anything pointing below means performance drops considerably, with red being top form and purple being the opposite. If a player is on purple you don't want to play him unless you absolutely have no other choice.

Also if you haven't done so press RB to scroll through every player's form, ability and status. And press Y to check a player's full list of stats, positions etc.

That's brilliant. Thank you very much indeed!
