Very good game. And quite difficult to figure out exactly how to deal with each of the huge monsters. I'm not a fan of the bleached graphical effects and at some points it looks as like a PS1 games. But overall well worth playing, so watch out for it.

i have a question.,from what i have read in the OPSM 2 mag they say that between the boss fights you dont do shit,so there isnt any monsters!?

(hope that made sense)

That's true. You wake up at the temple, get on your horse and have to travel to where the next boss is. The world is quite large and some parts are good to see, with people raving about the beauty of it. I think it mostly looks nice but there are a few iffy graphical glitches here and there.

So, nothing but bosses in this game. Still takes a while to get to the next boss location - which you figure out using the sunlight reflected of your sword. I killed another 2 bosses tonight. Good stuff :)

This really looks awesome, and I like the concept of it being like a real life adventure. The scope of the whole thing seems amazing. I think the main point to this game is to give the viewers a more surreal feel. Words can't describe how awesome this looks and feels.

Completed it a couple of nights ago. Very strange ending sequence.

Well worth playing. Some people will be raving about this game when it comes out over here. It is great to play but I believe some of the graphical glitches shouldn't be happening at this point in ps2 gaming.

8/10 from me.

I like weird concepts so this drew my attention about a year ago or something when I read about it.

Other than you Zyg, I think those bleached graphs make it look good and give it that dark atmosphere.

I really enjoyed this game, love the music. I got hooked on it then stoped playing it coz of RE4 but I'm going to go back to it for sure.

When It's Over, It's Not Over
But even when you're kicked back to the title screen, your journey is not over. Shadow has a whole boatload of things to do, collect and so forth after you've finished it off, including a hard mode, and you'll be immediately sucked back in. As you beat each colossus your strength will increase, and your accrued strength from the first time through will stick with you at the start of the second, allowing you to reach places you couldn't the first time around.

In order to hunt down everything there is to find in the seemingly barren world, you'll actually need to finish the game more than once. And while you're working through the main story for the second or third time, by adventuring and completing other tasks you'll find a whole ton of other goodies to collect.

So, while you might think you've seen everything there is to be seen after your first time through the game, think again. If you want a hint of what's in store for you, check out our forthcoming guide.

Interesting.

I still don't get why many reviewers are getting orgasms about the graphics of this game when there are many glitches all over the place. It looks good but not amazing to me.
