I really don't get these kinds of complaint. If you watch real football and then play PES the resemblance is uncanny. You can score pretty much every kind of goal that you see in real football (so long as you're good at the game) and compared to the opposition (Fifa) the shooting in PES is a dream come true.
I don't know whether you're expecting every shot to curl like Roberto Carlos' fabled free kick but you have to remember that those kind of shots come along maybe 10 times a decade.
If you want ridiculous curl on every shot I'd advisethat you buy Fifa

but shots DO curl, they just don't swerve like cars driven by women ~awaits a ban~. If you watch football you wont see many shots curl more than they do in the game and those that do curl more are hit after the player has trapped and stopped the ball. In this situation on PES 3 shots will curl more because the shooter wont have to concentrate on controlling the ball whilst moving as well as aiming a shot

Luka, you need to get out more. and the goal i posted up on evo-web forum was after you "challenged" anyone to show a goal that had curled...well, that goal did, and i didnt say it curled alot, but the best i have. But yuo are on some kind of crusade over this curl thing...thats why your topic got locked at evo....cos you're acting like a prat, and tryin to force your view over others, without having any kind of proper debate. So don't be comin on here, saying you're getting a rough deal and looking for sympathy...dude, get a life.

Jesus, I never thought I'd make so many enemies over a simple thread about my dislikes for the shooting animations and stuff in PES3...
And it is to me too, but that doesn't mean there can't be anything badly wrong with it.
I'm just annoyed because with what I have said in the first post and one or two other things this game could be absolutely perfect. At the minute I'd give it a 7.

Luk, do you spend 99.9% of your time, worrying about shot animations and curled shots? geeez, just play the game and enjoy it.
As for the curling aspect, from your original post, you said the players cant curl shots that much, not necessarily from distence, so they were 2 different things, I was trying to show you curl....that goal was with nistelrooy, who doesnt have a hig curl stat, but I have hit better curlers with other players who do, so what I am saying...and read carefully....you can have a decent amount of curl in shots, dependent on player and stat, and amount of power, direction and the actual execution of the shot. The shot animations look fine to me.
I dunno why this is working you up so much....just chill.
