lol you read my mind i was about to make the same thread in these days, this is very important for times, for example when you use roberto carlos and are very close to the box lines, and if you shoot regulary, robertos power imposed on the fk always, or almos very time, except for exceptional times, the ball goes over the horizontal , so as solilowuay is there a way to shoot fk near the area under the barrier, bcause when you execute them in your side of the field or away from the enem team`s box, you can but not when you are near.

The way to do freekicks that are positioned real close to the box is to press the backwards direction as you are taking the freekick. I recently discovered this. I also tried going under the barrier and it never worked, also you can try to get a player2 to nudge the ball just to the side of the wall so u have a clear shot.

i know that sirt, pressing backward is the slowest, then it comes the othr thats a little bit faster that is pressing r2, then it comes pressing r1 wich is fast and the fastest is pressing the forward direction.
so its backwards = slowest
R2 = Slow
R1 = fast
Forward = Fastest.
but we are asking if there is a way to shoot from under the wall.

In PES3 is was declared as a bug. You could score for 100% under the barrier. In PES4 that "default goal" is no more, but if the barrier jumps a thing u mostly won't get from a CPU player, the ball will get to goal.

Press down and R1(for power) and then press lob(circle).

that's what i do, but it never gets past the barrier and i'm finding it a bit annoying considering that i really used to like scoring from under the barrier. on the other hand it gives me a chance to improve my fk skills :cool:

Soliloquay how many times does that type of goal occur in real life? :wink:

ah yes you're right. otherwise pes would descend to the level of some other games of which i am afraid of mentioning :D . wish i could close this tread now :) . thread closed. :lol:

What I always do from like 19m out almost always works. Imagine your taking it off slightly to the left, you press right on the D-pad for a split second than press left and down on the d-pad then hold it whilst you power up the bar, it curls into the top corner almost all the time.

sounds a bit difficult about the timing. i'll give it a try tonight then. which player do you prefer using for this technique?

Hmm, depends what team. If its off to the left slightly always use a right footed player, I would personally use Maniche - totally underrated by the way. But if it's further out try using Ballack, his f/ks are deadly.
