shooting too strong and fast???

Yea I find the shooting a bit stronger in Pro Evolution Soccer 6 as well because when I am only tapping the \"Shoot\" button it still shoots it still hard and it normally goes over.

I dunno, the ball does move faster. But it beats floating 'em in, as so many shots seemed in the previous PES/WE titles. I don't think it effects the ammount of long range goals scored or anything like that, so i'm happy with it. I've only scored 2 or 3 long range shots so far, which is more realistic than one every other game as it was in PES5 and WE10.

Definintely prefer the shooting on PES6 over PES5 - although the best of the lot for screamers was PES3.

the shooting is far better, if you watch real football the shots are really fast and in previous versions of pes, shots seemed to move in slow motion especially in pes 4

I like the shooting, it's nowhere near as bad as I was starting to think, reading various threads on various forums. I'm already used to shooting from optimal positions, rather then trying something with my back against the goal, etc, so there is nothing new for me there.

Strange that, I'm scoring more goals from distance than I ever have. Stuff like Stevie G off-balance left-foot 35-yarders. And the first 3 or 4 goals me and the lads scored were from outside the area. But that may just be us.

It feels more realistic.

I scored with Henry from 25 yards out with a drilled shot to the bottom corner.
The animations and the way the ball comes off is much better than previous version.

yeah i get this a bit, it's gutting when u make a steaming run only to have your shot hoofed over the bar! i think it's more thank likely to do with being off balance and pressure from players behind u!

the shooting in pes6 is different from we10 at first I had problems but I seem to be getting to grip with it now scored a cracking volley yesterday it had power and curl on it.

some tips:
-shots that are made from an angle over 45 degrees to the goal have small chances of succeeding.
-1st touch shots are verry accurate and strong
-it helps to take a shot when the ball is a couple feet away from the player, (R1+L1) or when u are sprinting

I've not really noticed problems with the shooting being too powerful. BUT, if you're in the box and at a slight angle-Ive noticed that if you shoot then the ball will just go flying unrealisticly over the bar! looks pathetic sometimes...especially when shooting with players like Sheva or Henry.
