Remember the process is, press :square: (your player will no longer respond to movement) and then direct your shot and release. Direction then shoot doesn't send the ball accurately. If you continue to hold the direction button after the shot, you are probably putting swerve on to the shots. sending them annoyingly wide. I find the analogue joystick gives me more accuracy, once you get used to it.

I hope this helps. I know shooting sometimes feels like a dark art.

Face the goal and try to slow down - press square to about 3/4 of the power bar and hold left or right depending on the direction your shooting (hold down towards the goal: could be right+up or right+down etc)

The rest is then up to the player your shooting with, and plenty of luck. I have to admit i find the Dpad easier for this one.

{b}i just run to the goal at a bit of an angle and put about 1/3 of power on it should be a good shot{/b}

yeah don't hit the ball running at full speed, difficult to pull off unless you're running onto a volley

well..no
its easier to hit it while sprinting if you want power but just make sure that you are sprinting towards goal on a bit of an angle.

No...in my opinion it's FIRST DIRECTION, and THEN shoot. When hitting the shoot button hold directional too. When releasing the shoot button, immidiately release the directional too. That's right, then you add too much swerve too the ball.

It's all about timing, try and make sure the ball is a half stride infront of you when you take the shot, this allows you connect nicely with the ball. Then hit square and direct it, sprinting with :R1: will get more power usually but it's harder to pull off.
