ummmm try getting into a better position to shoot? Sorry can't help much.

You have to position yourself correctly... If you're cutting in and you're shooting with your weak foot, and your weak foot accuracy isn't too strong you'll scuff it... If you're in a strange position, you might scuff it too... That's basically what it is.
You basically have to imagine where you have to shoot from where you'll actually make clean contact with the ball; if you're under pressure, you won't have much time so you might not be able to shoot it with as much power and accuracy.

Either that, or you're pressing R1 (sprint) + shoot - that's a small chip shot, afaik.

yep it looks wierd its almost like a turning shot where there is little to no backlift with the shooting foot

Henry does it alot from what i played on the demo but since i got the game i havnt had any1 in my AC Milan team do it that much

Shooting is realistic.
If you aren't in position, the chances of you scoring are reduced greatly. Also it depends on your players stats (shooting accuracy, technique, opposite foot etc).

While playing the game, if you have actually every played football, think about what you would do on a real pitch, and go from there.

i do like shooting this year and it even find it harder to score long range shots than on the ps2 game. The AI closes you down very realistically which forces you to vary the type of shot you use, i tend to use the place shot much more.

Next time, try a DOUBLE TAP of the SHOOT button....

.....and watch the ball ping goalwards bound.

i know what u mean i just posted the same thing i hate this type of shot and it happand last year aswell when u get in a position to smack it they do this side footed kind of stupid shot and i hate it
