They'll definately raise there price before release.

They advertise this price as to draw in 1000's of pre-orders.

Then they assume that the majority won't be arsed to cancel and re-order from elsewhere when they up the price.

Shopto are notorious for it.

what you say makes no sense, if you preorder you pay the price that you preordered at not what it may raise to. ive bought plenty from shopto.

also they prolly will put it up to something like £32 but they wont hike it up. im going to wait coz last year, 2 weeks after release play had it on sale for £25 and i felt rather shafted after paying almost £40. hopefully asda will do it for a similar £28.

if you've preorderd from shopto before, you'll notice they don't charge you until they dispatched the product, and they willy notify you of any price change.

im going to wait till the actual release date cos last year asda and tesco were both selling the game for under £20 and that was on the ps3!

under £20 sounds too good to be true. I have pre-ordered through shopto.net. They are normally very good and i usually receive games before the actual release date so well worth it!!

i bought it from asda on its release date last year
it was about £26
so £29.85 is a pretty good price
just thinking whether I should wait longer or preorder now to secure this price..

Why buy it on release date? Wait a few weeks and see what the reviews are! When I say reviews I mean the actual people not magazines and FRAK!

Anyways, last year Asda did a price of only £24 on release didn't they??

i know it was cheap for the initial week at asda, cant quite remember the exact price. waiting is a good idea, i wasted £36 on Virtua tennis 2009. i played virtua tennis 3 almost religously and it was a game i could come back to play online with my mate anytime so i thought it was a risk free buy, turns out 2009 absolutley sucks ass, and nothing differentiates the players. so yeah waiting is a good stratergy, but even the poorer pes titles have given me at least 4-5months of playability (the poorer ones been pretty much all the next gen ones!)

YH, last year I pre-ordered COD:WaW from Game.co.uk for £40, I got it the day before release. But the next day I went to ASDA and it was for £27! I wasted £13 just to get the game a day early :(
YH it was the same with PES 2009, I pre-ordered for £40 but it was about £28 in ASDA so another £12 wasted :(
I'm going to get up bright and early on 23rd October and 10th November to get my PES2010 and COD : Modern Warfare 2 for less at ASDA.
THATS ASDA PRICE CLAP CLAP! :)

dont expect too much on the release day in asda
last year it had around 30 copies only

Nah, ASDA is 5 minutes from my house and i'll go really early in the morning because the ASDA by mine is open 24/7.
And when I went to get PES2008 from ASDA on release date 2 years ago they said I was the first one to pick up the game from that ASDA, and I was there at 9AM.
So i'll defo get it.
And if I don't i'll blame it on you now lol! Only joking lol
But i'm sure i'll get it, if not i'm gonna go to evey shop to try and get it no matter what the cost ;)

Not to get drawn into an argument but here is shopto's policy on pre-order:

" ShopTo.Net processes pre-orders in the order they are received. If for any reason you cancel your pre-order and then choose to place it again, your new pre-order will be added to the end of the queue and your old queue position cannot be restored.

You will be notified by email of any price change to this pre-order. Your pre-order will not be processed after a price change unless you confirm it.

If you were not expecting this pre-order please contact us immediately.

Regards,

ShopTo.Net "

Basically, if they raise the price and you don't agree, you don't get it for the pre-order price.
