LOL That would be a great headline!
Anyway I cancelled my Pre-order of Modern Warfare 2 due to the price - £44.99!
Better just to go to ASDA or Tesco and get it
Same with PES2010, even though sites like ShopTo and Zavvi are selling it for around £30, it's probably a little cheaper to go to ASDA or Tesco and get it
Tesco had FIFA10 for £24.99 on release date, so I can see PES2010 being at least the same or less on release date.
i got MW2 on order from asda direct @ £35.97 not too worried about it yet, i might start to closer to the time!
thing is with the royal mail... i appreciate that noone likes automation.. but in an economy where so many people are losing jobs and have already been replaced by computers or robots etc your not getting any synpathy.
these other industries, miners, ship builders, whatever it might be, were skilled labour, who had learnt the job over generations.
sorters are just that.. sorters they go to work, sort, go home, forget about it...
people just want their mail delivering, yesterday and they arent going to stick up for these posties/sorters im afraid.

like i say, im glad i aint really involved in it. "modernisation" is the phrase they keep throwing up, and its fair play, RM is a company that needs to run as efficiently as possible in order to maximize profits, but you cant expect the workers to just lie down and take it. it sucks coming so close to xmas, i cant really be assed trailing the shops for presents!!
i ordered it a couple of months ago, it might have been tesco but was definately one of the big suipermarkets. ive just had a look and the price has increased since.
they have already taken the money though...and most ppl usually wait till they have dispatched before charging!

Check this out guys if ShopTo dont send out PES by Tuesday 20th evening iam cancelling my order aswell because people are right RM in the end have to bring it to your door even if UKmail handle it. By the looks of it the strike is going to start from midnight 22 Oct Thurs.
I am sure after hearing this news online retailers will be trying to get PES 2010 in stores by this weekend or Monday 19th so they can ship it out ASAP.

I'm taking my chances with normal delivery particularly bearing in mind what P The Ghost says. Hopefully we'll all get it on time but if it's a few days late then what the hell.

I just got off the phone from ShopTo and got some good news they said they plan to have the game with them by Monday 19th or latest Tuesday 20th so some of us who pre ordered early with them could have the game on Tuesday 20th.
Other thing i cleared up with them is about UKmail using RM to bring post to us and he told me Royal Mail only post UKmail letters to customers, parcels which our PES 2010 games will be, are going to be posted by UKmail by hand from them, he told me the strike will not effect customers using UKmail.
Iam hoping to get my PS3 copy by Tuesday or Wednesday

Good man, saved me the hassel of having to call them....you asked all the right questions! i cant afford to not have the game on sat, have mates visiting from all over for a 12 player tourny!!

I have gone with Ukmail mate, its only 1.99 extra so you dont have to worry about RM.

I'm new to them but do they take the cash outta my bank as soon as they ship it? I'm probably worrying over nothing (just eager to get the game), but there's no check out!! I know it says there's no need to checkout because they've recieved my order but still.......

yeah i know what you mean DJ....i feel a little bit uncomfortable by the lack of confirmation....... just to be on the safe side ill prob call up monday morning just to double check everything is ok! if its your first order, you might wanna double check that your address / bank details are all 100% correct!

I sleep better knowing drama kings RM are not handling my goods.
I ve been with shopTo for over 2 years and they are the best online games retailers i have used. They take the money when they ship the game out, just make sure your bank details are right. You should of got a email sent to you when you made your preorder. If unsure you can login at ShopTo and check your preorders there also.

Yeah the game is under the pre-order section on the left hand side!! My bank account had £3 taken out and then put in again (£1 3 times). And its my 1st order so its going to my home address. Idealy I would have wanted it delivered to work just in case no one was in but oh well lol.
