actually in this game, it is a lot harder to use than the previous fake shot, in this game it is virtually useless.

Shot fake in pes5 useless? It's one of the best moves in the game. To the extent in which i tell myself not to use it too much as it works soo well.

Double shot fake: Square, Square_X
Lob shot fake: L1+Square_X
Super Cancel Shot fake (the best one) Hold square, but just before the players finished his shot animation, press R1+R2 and they will cancel the shot. Means the defender will slide, but you will carry on in a straight line - no slowing down and changing directions. Works best at an angle. Also if you press R1 afterwards it does a version of the longbridge, still one of my favourite moves in the game.

I also noticed that shot faint works almost too often in Pes 5. It's easiest done by "sliding" your fingers across square and cross buttons.

its easy to beat the keeper with the shot fake, he dives, you take it round him

is longbridge when u out the ball past the defender one side and run the other? ive seen how to do it b4 on this forum and done it in training, but i cant remember how to do it and cant find the thread.

While running, hold :R1:+:R2:, then tap :L1:x3. U need to have a quick left hand, unfortunately mine is not quick enough to perform this consistently.

I find it better to use the 'clearance-fake'. If your a defender and a striker is coming towards you, hold down :circle: then press :x: to fake it. Works surprisingly well.:happy:

And is great to use against mates.
