So, the question is quite simple, should I buy this game for the PC? I've tried FIFA 09 PC and it just sucks bad, its same crap as 06-07-08 version. I do not own a ps3 or xbox360, stuck with the PC. Also, is the online mode playable now? Only PC users respond please, thank you.
I didn't play the online mode, I'm stuck with a "politically incorrect" version until they release it in North America (as far as I know it will be released in the next year for PC, sadly). I'm thinking about buying the european version but probably people from my country will use the U.S version to play online, so I dunno what to do yet.
Ok, all I have to say is:
- The game runs like a dream, I'm totally impressed by how optimized and solid the game is.
- Menus are ultra-responsive, it uses a kind of Mac style, clean, fast, easy to use.
- The support for gamepads is awesome, you can configure all buttons in the settings menu with a easy-to-use graphical interface.
- Even without anti-aliasing at 1024x768 the graphics are perfect.
- It has built-in vertical sync, if you combine that with the correct refresh rate (60hz) it's smooth as hell.
Gameplay-wise you will have the same experience as the console version (not a crappy port). You can do a fresh install of your OS like myself before installing it to avoid headaches. Well, you can't go wrong, with some minor adjustments before playing it runs pretty well.
