Not that I'm aware of, no.

And the stability thing was based on 'out of the box' gaming. With the multitude of different PC set-ups it's unlikely that more than a quarter of PC gamers would be able to just load and play without having to tweak something.

The classic was that it wouldn't load if the sound was set to output anything other than 44,100 Hz. They've fixed that.

The other main gripe was random, occasional crashes to desktop (CTD) which wouldn't give you an error message. Most people have resolved this by telling the game it is allowed to use more than 2GB for textures etc. via a mod called Skyrim 4GB. The game would crash if it ran out of available memory even though you had (in my case) 8GB RAM of which about 3GB wasn't being utilised. Mods would obviously make the issue pre-mod worse. Why it wasn't released with a higher memory limit built-in is anyone's guess but this problem was also there with Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas although I didn't experience it with either as I didn't mod them.

Turned off auto-save, deleted auto-save files and 'waited' for 24 hours and it seems to have sorted itself out. Really enjoying being back in the game, level 33 and I'm finishing the main quest, had to stop for dinner though which is annoying... being off work tomorrow I hope to complete it.

I'm 63 hours in, level 30 and haven't visited the Greybeards yet. I might do so soon but then I might not. I haven't done any Dark Brotherhood, Thieves' Guild or Bard's College missions yet, haven't been to Solitude, Markath or Riften and have found what appears to be 95% of the locations on the world map but have only been into about eight.

I almost don't want to start completing missions...

I think that says a lot for the scope of the game Sweey. There really is so much to do and so much to miss!

Just completed a mission in Solitude for the Dark Brotherhood... got a 1500 bounty that I just couldn't seem to avoid and now all the guard in solitude have superb vision that allows them to see me, even though I'm sneaking and the eye is closed :folarm:

Feeling a little conned here...

Doing my thing for the Stormcloaks and thus striving towards ridding Skyrim of the Imperial scum, but a bug that has me cringing is that I can't seem to get that Blood on the Ice triggered...I do want to settle down in Hjerim though, really do. Always was keen on settling down in Windhelm, it being the grandest house only really made me reaffirm that.

The reconstruction of Winterhold and more things for the Bards' College (quests and possibly being able to play instruments?) are both things that I'd like to see in an expansion pack. Wonder what's the possibility of Solstheim popping up?

Did anyone else side with the Legion in the civil war campaign? I'm really disappointed with the missions I'm being assigned, very formulaic and poorly designed, not in keeping with the rest of the game.

With my current character I'm going to so this is good warning for me not to expect much on that side of things.

So I started out as a Bosmer (dont hate) a girl at that liked the whole sneaky archery bit. But then I saw the face formula to be Conan and well I caved in, started over and now play as Arnold. I mean it makes more sense to be playing as a Nord anyway in lieu of the story.

This is the first time that I've not got a game because the reviews are so good.

I just know that it will take way too much of my time up, time I can't afford to waste atm

This is relatively far into the game, I'm guessing, so I'll put it in spoilers:

The new Blades (not Sheff Utd) had their first outing today. Those of you, who have got that far, who did you choose to induct into the blades?

I went for: Mjoll the Lioness, Kharjo and Ghorbash the Ironhand

Did all the Dark Brotherhood quests the other day. Pretty entertaining, with plenty of traps that you can use against people in dungeons and shit like that. Good set of quests I think. Ties in nicely with the theives guild aswell, so that's always good.

Out of interest, how many 'Stones of Barenziah' have everyone got? I've got about 5 I think. I might look up online where they all are, to see what happens when you get them all.
