Some advice on defending please...

First of all,let me say that i've noticed something strange.
When i'm hosting,my players get very aggresive and defend really high...

However,when the other player's hosting,something changes...i mean...
my players' attitude becomes very different...
they give the opponent much more space...

i still can't underestand why...and that's also why the half i'm hosting is my "good one"...

any ideas?

Also....Could you generally give me some advice on how to make my players defend high and "aggresively"?

Use of formation and the backline strategy set at A (Team Strategy) also should help. Maybe change your attack\defense to manual, stop the CPU forcing your men back when the other team have the ball

you mean,by changing att/def to manual?
i've already done that...

buy what you have already done, also what type of defence do you use, line or normal? line should stop defenders running back with defenders.

If you want we can meet online sometime, you can look at my formation I do not tend have the problems you are having.

Play with low defence indivdual setting and use off-side trap.

actually,what i 'd like to achieve,is make my players mark closer theopponents.
some kind of man-to-man,but not exactly....
i'd like to reduce the distance between my players,and the opponents' attacking players...
if you underestand what i mean....

OK understand now, I think this is down to their defensive abilities though, man to man doesn't seem to keep a player closer to his man even if has the skill. NOt sure what to suggest mate.
