+Great graphics (much better ligtning, animations, stadiums and player's models) :cool:
+Brilliant optimisation, absolutely brilliant. :shocking:
+Much better, more realistic and slower movement.
+Ball physics is 1 class up compared to PES 2009.
+Player's physical model is great, this is probably main reason of good movement that I stated before.
+This new tactics thing is great improvement. You can finally try and defend in numbers when you have good result, or more naturally and easily switch to attack when you want.


-Referees. They make some shocking decisions by giving red cards, or on the other hand not giving yellow when It's so obvious that It was a "hard/dangerous" foul, or should I say tackle.
-Terrible AI of CPU's defensive players. Even playing on TOP PLAYER difficulty doesn't help. Many, many times players just stand in place and wait for opponent's offensive player to pass right by them.
What can we expect when we would play against lower quality teams in full version (Master League). I'm really scared about this. Shame, It could potentially ruin singleplayer.:no:

Ekhmmm, sorry about this defence opinion. I didn't use a proper word.
But, after playing few hundred games PES 2009 on TOP PLAYER you can notice that PES 2010 defence on TOP PLAYER is a slight step back.

For example, in demo you play with some of best defenders in the world... and what could happen if you play on lower difficulty and against teams with much less quality. I'm really scared about that scenario.

This new movement, player physics model and animation, of course, really add difficulty to attack... but... when you attack on counter 1v4, and defenders just stay 16-18 meters from goal and giving you perfect opportunity to make a deadly long-range shot, or just to run down the flank and dribble them is... well... It doesn't look good.
And remember, It was 1v4 situation.
But, beyond that, It's not bad, AI's good, but I'll say again, It needs a little bit of tweaking and adding more pressing in some situations that real-life defenders can handle with ease.
Good, but, small step back.:erm:

yes very true... which is the same broblem as the previous versions in PES 2009 sometimes I can see 8 players in the 18 yard box !!! just holding back...

I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED IN KONAMI... :realmad:

for me the things that need improvement are:
1) GK's !! The 1st and prior thing! They are totally horrible and I mean it! Especially when they make a run for the ball outside of their box! TOTALLY SUCKY!
2) Gameplay speed !! Needs to become slower, and players need to run as if they're human running on their feet, not robots running on platforms!
3) Crowd need to become more lively with better reactions, especially on goals!

One more positive thing that I've found out after few more games in PC demo today.
PENALTIES! :w00t
So good and bold innovation. It adds much to the atmosphere. Great job.
I didn't find any issues to report with new penalty system, so I give It 10/10. Finally... :cool: :)

I think AI could be a killer for these kind of game which relies on good AI to make it enjoyable.

To tell you the truth, I haven't tested the demo yet. Heard a lot of complaints about the AI, though.

However, I don't believe they can change the AI in such short notice

Let me tell you the truth, It's far from bad, but, It took small step back, instead of small step forward.
But I'll properly judge It in full game. :cool:
