Some Improvements for Pes 2010

I have been playing PES since Pes 4 , before I played FIFA, but as soon as I played Pes I realised it was so much better than FIFA.

Things I would change in Pes 2010 -

The ML -

I play ML almost everyday , its that good and makes a mockery of FIFAs Manager mode. I love the fact that you can play infinite seasons. But there are some minor Problems -

The Currency - Makes no sense.

Stats - I Personally would like to have that app where if you clicked on the players name it would tell you how many games he has played , how many goals / assists he has scored and his age. That was a simple but effective introduction , so please bring it back!

Stadiums - There are only 19 of them and most of them are quite big so when you are playing away to Fulham you end up playing in the Camp Nou which is extremmley Irritating! I think Konami should just add some more Fictonal stadiums.

UEFA CL - Last year I was over the moon when Konami announced they had the CL but then frustrated that it wasn't Incorperated into the ML. It would be Great watching your team come out to the CL tune!

Realism - More Footage like last time , the pictures were a real step forward but now I want to see footage! Aka Goal of the month ( Furthest goal out , should be easy to Implement) or Press confrences were there is a cut scene then you get a question with 4 responces , and your popularaity depends on it!

Gameplay and Editing - ( Overall)

Gameplay - I have always preferred Pes gameplay to FIFAs but last year that wasn't entirely true , although I stuck with pes for its Inferior game modes! I think the whole '8 - way' system is starting to ruin the gameplay! I also think the way players pass the ball , shoot etc should be changed. For examole when a player shoots on Pes today the shooter hits it with his preferred leg then lifts the other at a right angle. If they changed / or added animations then It will make the game feel and look a lot more realistic and like a complete new game not a Installment with new game modes!

The look of the game

Nets - I must say the way the nets 'slump' in the middle is really annoying and its exclusive to next gen. Why couldn't we go back to the Normal nets like in the England League , although I wouldn't mind it being exclusive to some stadiums but it is a little feature that is really Irratating as it takes away some realism to playing in the EPL and ties in with the point I made about stadiums in the ML.

Graphics - They still look a bit like suped up Ps2 graphics but Konami are apparently 're - vamping' them so I do not feel the need to mention them really.

Cut scenes - They are already superb but we want more of them! For example If a player is sent off , zoom in on the coach and have him kicking a bottle or complaing to the 4th offical. Also If a last min goal is scored than show the bench going mental.

Edit Mode - Always been a big fan. But there are some things I would like to see Implermented -

Badges - I have always wanted to put PL badges on the sleeves of my ML team and I think adding the abiltiy to upload a Image to put on sleeves ( like the chest Image) would vastly improve realism of the kits.

Stadium builder - although it would be rather easy to create it would be really effective. If there was 15 save spaces or something this could really Improve the game as a whole.

Third kit - This could be a optional option for Unlisenced teams ( pre done for Lisecensed teams) but yet again would be a Great addition.

Overall I think whatever happens I will be buying this game come November but these additions would be great for the game!

currency is a must , more REAL stadium in my opinion should be done

Agree with all this - some good and important ideas.

For me, the most important thing is the removal of the jerky 8 directional movement. Even PES 6 moved better than PES 2008 & 9. 16 or 32 way movement would make it much smoother - but I can't see it actually getting to 360 degrees for a while...maybe if ever.

I would also love to see the ability to plug any teams into the ML - because if you effectively want the EPL & some Championship sides in your ML Division you have to edit half of the Spanish league to achieve this - which is a loss elsewhere in the game (like if you want to play the Spanish League!!. You can put custom teams into the CL - so why not ML?.

Maybe it's just me but I quite like the graphics - I know there's less licences but to me they look loads better than FIFA. I know they will be improved - but I can't see the point of having a great looking Torres and Messi if they move like robots!!!

I would like a lot more on the edit functions - agree with stadiums (good idea - why not?) and a ball and boot editor please. Either that or at least loads of each to pick from. More kit designs, more layers and badges for shorts and socks please. Also handy amendments like when you set "emblem off" it sets that for all kits and you don't have to repeat four times.

Can we please have some injury differences - always the same animation and some data (eg "4 weeks - Ankle ligament") and maybe this time could be affected if you put medical/rehab on the player (like you do in the "set Team Training" screen - i.e. the better your medical staff the quicker player returns etc). And maybe some season long injuries - frustrating I know but realistic.

Lastly for me, more animations everywhere. There's not enough passing, shooting and heading animations. Needs loads more and complete agree with Maximopex123 with that shot followed by the step over - this does happen but rarely and normally when the player is running sideways across the ball. There needs to be more realistic motion for shots. And as for tackling - there's only the one animation used for a slide tackle - but you see all sorts of slide tackles in a real game and much more variation is needed.
