some problem with WE AMERICA v3.0

i have an option file dir
i saw that i have a file name WEmerica30special30bincue.bin in the option file 3.0 dir
and a cue for it... i opened it with iso buster and i saw that it has
the same structure as the program cd2mem bin file..
i burned it but my ps2 cannot read it ...
the only way to update the players is using the option file ?
and what is max drive

You either then need to use the CD2MEM guide, or to use a max-drive.

It didn't even work for me!
When i put the cd in my ps2 and reset it for the cd to work it goes without a glitch.The playstation2 logo appears in the screen and then the console automatically goes back to thst screen that tells u wich devices you have plugged in,like memory cards etc.plz heeeelp!
