Sonic Vs Mario

When I was younger I was very much a Sonic fan.

But now it has to be Mario - all the games are top drawer.

MK in partic.

I wasted a good part of my youth playing those games, sonic was the first game I owned . Mario got my vote though, I always vote for the gay italian plumber.

Mario wins it by a mile in my opinion. First ever video-game I owned was Mario 64 on the Nintendo, and from then onwards I've been buying all of his games, including Mario Tennis, Mario Kart Super Circuit, Super Mario Land (the original on the gameboy) oh and not forgetting Super Mario Golf.

All these games create a fantastic series, proving not only that Mario is a legend, but he also kicks Sonics little blue tail.

Without a doubt Mario is more popular, look how many games there are with him. In my opinion Sonic is cooler and his game on the SEGA was very cool. I really don't like the new Mario games but the first three games on the Nintende were cool, therefore Mario wins but only with a small difference.

Mario owns Sonic. SuperMario bros the early 84's or 83`s I don`t remember the game won the history award or some sh!t.. I still play it often on my Gameboy.

well i tink they are both legends, i voted sonic tho. as i didnt have a nes or snes, i had a mega drive and sonic games for that.

this shouldn't even be close. Mario can fly, all sonic can do is run fast. i know i'd much rather fly or shoot fire balls.

I grew up with Sega and Sonic so it has to be him and also a fat Italian plumber riding on a hideous creature is quite disturbing.

Sonic 1-3 and Sonic & Knuckles on Megadrive still beat any Mario game in my opinion, i love them.

Even more reason to vote for him. Mario Kart was a great game, I was always the Trooper

I remember playing the first Mario Party, that was good. Haven't played any since really.

Look like its pretty inseperable 21 votes each at the time of this post. I voted sonic though just cos for some reason i've always prefered sonic to mario though Mario Kart is a lot of fun multipayer.
