I've called, I feel sorry for the poor girl working at Konami. Taking all these call must do her head in a little. To be fair to Konami - they wasn't sure whether they were going to have Pro Evo 4 as a LIVE game, and they pushed it very late, hence it's not very good and all these problems have proped up. The good thing is that they will learn from PES4 and make sure that PES5 is spot on, without any lag. It's a learning curve for Konami and the huge response and feedback that they are getting will make sure that PES5 will be like playing against mates in your living room.

Konami should never have included Live if they knew it wasn't really up to scratch. I purchased an xbox on the back of this game and sold my ps2.
So as for being fair to them???
It's poor business on their part, another month or two in development might have avoided all this. Instead of cashing in on pre-christmas sales.
Considering the amount of people who pre-order, I for one will be waiting till after evo5 is released to consider buying a copy. No longer will I just remain loyal due to the name and assuming the product will be good.

yea lol, but bungie got it spot on there theres not much they can improve on imo.
Well Bungie also had like what, 2-3 years to work on it?? To me it seems like something Konami put together in a couple of months. I still find it strange though, that Konami hasn't announced the patch on their site. Maybe there actually is something to the rumour, saying that the patch wasn't to be released last week?? And that their still working on it??
its crap on live especially as the majority of players never seem to want to be the away team, in the last 3 nights I must have played as the away team about 90% of the time, its pathetic, Ill be lucky if I start a game and someone joins it, to get a game I got to be the away team each time. So many panzies out there who dont want to lose whatever, its no measure of skill at all, the away team always has the worst lag, dont buy pro evo 4 for the online expereince buy it for playing with your mates offline, at the moment thats all its good for!

the strange is about 50% of my games are Live enabled and i don't even have xbox live yet,but i was considering it when konami said PES 4 would be LIVE enabled

anyone ever done network game programing?
its easier to program what goes on in a 'halo' type of game rather than a sports game. also, they shouldnt have included it as a live title in the first place, shoulda just saved that for pes5/xbox2
