Don't talk pish, Konami=Company, which in turn means they need a big revenue. They aren't gonna strip down the Xbox 360 version just cos Sony said so, Sony are clueless bastards. PS3= The biggest joke in gaming history, all the disasters and set backs leading to its release, spells even more disaster when it's actually released. Plus anybody that starts a post with "Lets say I know someone that has a high position in the konami organization" is cleary talking out their own arse. Konami don't hold loyalties, they only care bout making a profit, as do all companies. If you were being serious then your talkin shit, but if it was a theoretical question, please keep them to yourself.

Its is a “war” sony asia playstation vs Microsoft usa xbox. Konami chosen they side of there asia brother duh. But konami is smart they stil make some profit with the enemy (xbox360 pes6) while saying fuck you ( see the strip of no edit and so on while having it on the ps2) kind a funny if you think of it. Im just posting this because I find it funny that no one see this.

Oh i see the truth alright, Konami are not fan boys of Sony or Microsoft, they simply try to make good games for both, unfortunately they had to rush PES 6 out on 360 in order to compete with Fifa. If ya wanna talk bout choosing sides, I think Konami with ISS, former Nintendo company, don't see loyalty as a necessity, just ask Nintendo ;) Plus the console war as they call it everytime new consoles come out, is already over, PS3, due to high pal region prices and lack of units has already shot itself in the foot where as the 360 is flourishing, PS3 has a lot of catching up to do, and they aren't going to do that unless they try their ass off 100 times over.

pampus,a noob with no respect on this forum cums on callin the shots and expects us 2 believe him.

crissgran i am with u.it wa rushed jus like ea's madden 06. the new 07 is bk at full strenght.ps3 is way too expensive for ppl with the average income, ppl who earn more prolly do so as they work more so they wont get one due to lack of time to play it

ps3s power is pretty much the same as 360,there wont be any major increases in graphics, prolly non,or in procesing power.i have bin sony playstation,i now hav a 360 and am glad of the swap

there is no chance it is this crap story u are mekin, they want money simple as,u say its strange why its in ps2,no its not!every time any game has bin released on more than one current gen console it has always bin the same, but wait,we are dealin with a current gen, with edit which they had previously so ready built for them, and a next gen where all tools to mek the game is new and demand is high and time is short,oh no there isnt time,we will have to leave the edit mode.

ps2 has it coz it wasnt anythin different, they had the same process built for them in we10 pes5 ect.

can we get some of these bullshittin noobs kicked!!!

Contract?

I've heard a rumour about Seabass saying at the last E3 not wanting to extend his contract with Microsoft as it ends on january 2007.
That could explain this PS3 crap.
Why a complete PES on the PS2 when this crappy console couldn't handle the crowd in PES5 and why not on the X1 and why a stripped version on the 360?????????

Well, i have the inside scoop, so once again i know something you don't know ;) but trust me, PES 6 for 360 was a rushed version while they were still working on the next one ;)

What a load of shit! I hate it when people come on here and CLAIM they are on the inside or know someone. Its bullshit get a life! If people knew they wouldnt be comeing on here to spout bullshit!

its getting infuriating hearing people moan about the 360 version, iam as angry as anyone else about the missing features but the gameplay is brilliant and better than the ps2. Iam sick of the numerous threads such as bitching about passing and shooting. Do people realy expect to pick the game up straight away, as everyone knows it takes time to master pes games and get used to it especially one as different as the 360 game. people are just jumping on the bandwagon and are being to quick to slag the game off.

I agree with S-D-P,just bought yesterday X360 bundle with PES 6,graphics are so incredible, gameplay is amazing, now as for the missing features which concern editing mode those are, well not expected, but don`t forget that PES 6 is the first title that KONAMI has develop for X360,my only inquiry is about the faces they are not what i expected to see but from that fact i can see that KONAMI has not harnessed fully the graphics possibilities of the console, and i think and hope that next year PES will be a memorable one for X360.Now in terms of gameplay only 1 word FANTASTIC!!!it`s much more harder to score a goal than it is on PS2,PC version, and the whole match on the field seems so realistic, when you play with rainy weather you are going to see what i am talking about, rain drops are so real that you think you are watching a live game from TV!!!!Only just one small question my version of the game has 8 stadiums(Luis II,Teatro Blanco,Antilon Coloseum,Catalonia Stadium,Olimpico,San Siro,Santiago Bernabeu,Orange Arena) does your version also includes 8 only stadiums???????

Im going to get the game after 6th form later, then maybe I'll have more of a scope on the game. But from what my mate has told me, it is annoying that there is no Edit Mode, but I'm pretty much certain that the PS2's Edit Mode has the same features as PES 5 and WE 10 so I dont understand the big deal being made about it.

I played PES 5 online for about 6 months without a patch on it, and I clocked up around 300/400 games and loved every minute of the unlincensed masterpiece.

So all in all, quit your bitching.

i wonder why microsoft has kept quiet on regards of konami releasing such a crappy game in their console

i dont think they were rushed at all. the xbox360 has been for almost a year so i think thats bullshit from konami

yes about a year,to reformat everythin for a new console.ps2 version wasnt rushed since we10 is pretty much the same game, they ahve jus tweaked, they had the graphics, the engine, the features and edit all ready built.but the xbox one was on a completley new format and isnt jus a port therefor they had a year to mek an entire football sim and put in wot they felt was vital

imagine if they took time out,put the edit mode in,but the gameplay was mediocre, well ppl wudnt play it enuff to warrant usin the edit mode!!

plus it wud have to be all new mechanics in the edit mode for faces and features, look at sergio ramos' headband that aint in any otha, not sayin tht wud tek ages 2 implement but u get the pic

stadiums, crowd and player likeness. yes and that happens over night when the fairys come and make the game.my thoery might be shit but the truth is so is every1 elses!i cud of cum out here sayin i no a big man he told me konami are fags and microsoft wunt gi em any so they med a crappy game, but i dint,i sed wot i think, dint try givin any illusions of it been a stonewall fact like alot of otha ppl.

we have seen ova the years tht konami work slow, look at the transfer window,it was shut 4 how long b4 the game was released?yet there are still soooooo many ppl at the wron clubs!and this is every year, problem is this year we cant do ought about it!tht "suggests" they were rushed 4 time as since they knew we cudnt do ought surley they shud of!!!

thats bullshit man!!! and everytime i see posts like yours ill keep sayn is bullshit. fifa has already made 3 xbox360 man eventhough their games are still not as good but they are getting better so that means that they dont need a year to make a completely new engine.

plus i read an article about konami sayn that they basically used the same engine from the ps2 adding a few tweaks here and there and the only thing they had to rebuild was the stadiums, crowd and player likeness.

so your theory is bullsh!t!!!

I have to say overall I am very happy with the 360 version and it does seem to be like history repeating itself. When Konami took the leap from PS1 to PS2 they also released a stripped down version of Winning Eleven.
If you compare the last full Winning Eleven (4) on PS1, to Winning Eleven 5 on PS2, there were certainly a few missing features that you would have expected in a next gen version. I seem to recall WE4 having more depth in terms of gameplay and even having a widescreen mode which hasn't been included since until the 360 version. I also remember the amount of stadiums being reduced to about 6-8. Most of the changes were cosmetic, and the graphics definately had a wow factor at the time, however, it took Konami until Winning Eleven 7 to really start to make next gen WE shine. So if you are an ardent follower of the series then this shouldnt really be a suprise. As for the a comparison of the two versions, I have played both 360 and PS2 and have to say that although the PS2 version is the overall better package, the subtlety of the gameplay and graphical polish of the 360 has the edge for me. The downside for both versions? well, the 360 problems are well documented, I have played all variations of PES6 and I feel the graphics on the PS2 version when viewed through an RGB connection have taken a backward step, compared to last years PES5, low res textures (the crowd is now the worst I have seen it) and some horrible drops in resolution. that said the gameplay is as solid and excellent as ever. I think we will see a wholesale improvement for the next installment when Seabass and his team restore the features excluded and release a far more polished next-gen product for both PS3 & 360.

Come one! The gameplay is good, but its a stripped down over-expensive version. A cash-in. Don't you feel cheated?

Like I said, I was aware of the omissions from this version and admittedly i would have liked to have seen more features (edit mode) but it doesnt detract from the gameplay. Remember, Konami have had a base to build on for the PS2 version and have probably taken the series technically to its apex on that system. The 360 is uncharted water for them so, as I mentioned earlier regarding the very first PS2 WE/PES this was very much a new venture. I know a lot of people who hated the stripped down PS2 PES/WE5 after playing WE4/WE2000 on the PS1. Until they get to grips with the format, Konami will build slowly, on solid the foundations which i think they did successfully on PS2, and will hopefully do on the 360. I feel they perhaps could of got more of the basics right on the 360 version but as a first foray into the next gen it seems like a good start. This time next year I think we will see something more akin to what we expect from the series and perhaps more of a next gen experience. But as it stands, in my opinion it plays like WE/PES should play and that is more important than anything else.

...

if you don’t believe me then don’t. the last thing i want to say is to experience a graphics
of nex gen you must MUST have HD so if you don’t have the money to buy a HD TV then just Buy a Monitor of 21 inch and your gaming experience will be much greater it happened with me

Its not bullshit bout the rebuilding, its very complex to rebuild games to a new format, you can't just directly port 1 version to another, it takes time and effort, and Konami just didnt have the time to get everything right. Why you think stuff was mentioned in the manual but wasnt included in the final game? Because Konami didnt have time to put those features in of course. The xbox 360 hardware is very complex, but thankfully not as much of a nightmare for developers as the PS3 ;)

People are not moaning about the gameplay. The gameplay is fine. What people are moaning about is the game has been strpped down. This is a next generation console, there is no excuse for leaving out the stuff they did, and still sell the game at top price. I dont want to see people saying its because they worked hard on the HD graphics, because the graphics are crap. I am a die hard pes fan. Someone who loves the fact that ok, it does not have the real team names kits and all that stuff, but the magic thing about pes is you can change all this, and as each version came out it was getter better and better. With the 360 version they have gone back years. Ive loveed the past pes games becaue you could score a cracking goal and save it. How hard is it to put a replay in a game, considering replays have been with us since the early days of gaming. You might like to spend all your hard earned cash on half a game, but i dont. And i dont want to here the same old people saying well, send the game back because at the end of the day i love pes's gameplay and always have. But people do have the right to moan. Its not jumping on the band wagon!!! If you dont feel pissed off about what konami have dont, then you are not a fan, or you are not a fan who has followed pes since the begining.

you obviously didnt read my post properly mate, iam just as angry as everyone else is about the missing features. i know people have the right to moan but there is no need for a thread on each different crticism
