Strange Circle On screen?

I've noticed this strange outline of a circle on my screen when playing PES 2010. It looks like a shadow and is just at the edge of the screen on both sides.

I only noticed it when playing in the sunshine but it's also there in night games, its just not quite as obvious.

At first I thought my TV might have been dirty but it's def on the game. Has anyone else seen this?

I've got a 26" Sharp TV. My brother-in-law, who owns an AV company, reckons it's because my TV can't cope with the colour changes at the edge of the screen.

It's not a big deal, just a bit annoying. Was just wondering if anyone else had noticed anything similar?

I got the same problem, but i guess its an ingame light problem. The Konami developers just overdid it.

As I say, it's not a big problem, just a bit strange when you see it, especially when it's a bright sunny match.

Oh wow im glad I found this thread !! I was going crazy myself thinking what this could be and im really glad im not the only one that has noticed this ! It's like drawing a circle within a rectangle, and the cut off points seem to show around the corners, im hoping this is exactly what we are talking about here ?

Haha Do you have this slight ghosted circle in your game Papa ? You do have to look quite a bit to see it.....

its there and it pisses me off! its there on my xbox, n also on my frnz ps3, tried changing resoultions, tinkering with tv settings, in-game settings, everythin, its ALWAYS there! i may be overreactin but it really spoils the game for me, hope they release a patch or something soon, just that not enough people have complained...maybe move this thread to the konami feedback section?

Yeah this is starting to annoy me too !! I really hope they fix this with the next software update ! It is very annoying to see that shadow there on each corner !

wow i thought i was going crazy... so everyone else can see the circle on the screen also... strange? at first i thought it was a flicker but then realised if you are sprinting down the touchline it looks more obviouse.

any fast movements make it more noticeable, lyk running really fast along the touch line, or clearin the ball from defence, but the fact i knw its there all the time annoys me lol, i cant stop thinkin abt it n just enjoy the game lol, dey seriusly need 2 patch it, its really silly!

Im really hoping Konami have spotted this issue, I know its something very small, but it actually draws my attention away from the game ! I know its there all the time and my eyes catch it all the time, please Konami can you get rid of this stupid "ghosting" !!

I see the circle too...

Have the game in my XBOX and a full HDTV samsung 32"...conected with HDMI.

I think that this "circle" is there because of the new lighting system... IMO its clear that the OLD PES engine can not deal with dynamic light effects, so what causes this defect.

When it comes to patching something wrong (like the OLD PES Engine) usually you find more problems...

Come on konami...give us a BRAND NEW GAME ENGINE, capable to deal with inverse kynematics, EUPHORIA OR ENDORPHINE collision and anymation system, Mo-Cap and dynamic lightning effects...

I want a trully CURRENT-GEN football experience with PES.

i read this thread a while back but hadn't noticed it, then the other day i did.

Exactly, i'd say you can only see it when the screen is scrolling.
