I have eventually found a way of creating striped and hooped kits for the PC version of PES 4. Check out the picture!! This was created in-game and the logo's I just imported with an option file editor.

Well looking at the kit he has chosen I'm curious now.

Don't let it be a trick!

At first, I thought he was just being stupid, and he had actually just imported the kit. But taking a look at it now, it doesn't look so fake. But yeah, Tom's right, why Yeovil? ;)

Nope its no trick and it is fairly easy to do.

Using the PES Graphic Studio if you open the 0_text.afs file you can browse through to find all of the normal club kits and all of the shirts, shorts and socks used in the in-game editor. You can export these files into paint and change where the borders of the black and red areas go (the bits that you get to choose the colours of in the game). With some copying and pasting you can arange the colours into stripes. You have to do a few files for each shirt - im not entirely sure why yet - but you can make any shirt design you want. Then using the graphic studio you put it back into the afs file - making sure the colours arent transparent and you're done. A little fiddly but at last you can get stripy kits.

Yeovil town all the way!!!

It is the closest to in game editing you are ever gonna get.

If I converted a load of the rubbish kits into striped ones I could make a kind of patch that would mean people would be able to make striped kits really easily....!

Haha,

C'mon cut me some slack - im a total noob to all this editing stuff. I kept seeing threads about people not being able to make their favourite kits and I thought my idea was pretty gd :(

Obviosly not :( :( :(

Yes it's a good idea as it solves the problem of striped kits.
But it is not done using only the in-game editor so there is a bit of false advertising going on - apart from that it's cool ;)

it is done in game editor, he has changed one of the template kits, just like fanatic did on evo-web 3 or 4 months ago!!
This is useful for people who use created ML teams, but nice of you all to misunderstand and hurl insults at the guy :realmad:
