The Stadiums they got rid of... I can't believe they got rId of Anfield, Old Trafford, St James Park, Stamford Bridge, Mestalla, Delle Alpi, Olympiastadion, Westfallenstadion. And then put it some fake, sh*t stadiums like Konami Stamium etc? what a waste of f*ckin time, why not just work on & improve graphics of the REAL stadiums they already had. I was pleased with the inclusion of the Portuguese stadia in PES2008 - Da Luz, Alvalade & Dragao etc. I felt this was 1 of the major highlights of the PES2008.
I also hate the fact you can't change the home default stadiums of Dutch & French teams aswell. For instance you have NEC Nijmegen (Who??, I sense you asking) playn in the Nou Camp, hardly realistic is it? Pisses me right off!!!!! I felt if they was to correct these sort of minor things then they would beat FIFA hands down every year, FIFA will never be able to compete with PRO gameplay wise... Not even this years FIFA installment, the players look too much like cavemen to be taken seriously. I just wish Konami would get the realism (kits, stadia) -regardless of licenses right. I am not too fussed with having The Barclays Premiership in the game, providing you can edit them yourself that is. But why don't they add new leagues, like the German Bundesliga.... Despite people wanting them in the game. It would still be a step forward. More teams to choose from.
The inability to change what kit you would like to wear for each match is a good point aswell? It probably took them longer to format the game so that teams kits didn't clash in each match, than what it would have done to incorporate the utility for us to choose ourselves. I feel Konami move a step forward then 2 steps backwards.
I'd like them to incorporate the ability to put badges on shorts and logos on socks aswell. Don't think we have had this benefit on any of the PES games yet. I know you can put numbers and sponsors logos on shorts (PES6) but you can't put the teams badge on there? Why?
