Style Of Play

My style of play is pass it about and then knock it to my wingers then run and cross. I mainly like to counter the oppstion.

i use my wingers alot in games and i seem to hold my own. my formation is the standered 4-4-2 with an holding midfielder and attacking midfielder.

has any1 got a way off playing which is better then the way i play?
and ow well does it work?

My style of play is attractive, but not necessarily effective. I like to pass it around and pretty much walk it in to goal. When I use my wingers, I usually use them to make space for my central midfielders to run in to. I try to play down the middle, but although it can be difficult, I find it to be the most rewarding way of playing.

I do mix it up quite a bit, so I will cross it in from the wings and take long shots, but passing in triangles and playing one-twos, with one or two touch football, and a lot of movement off the ball is the way I like to play PES.

Although I tend to have quite high possession and loads of shots, I don't tend to score much in the latest incarnation, but when I do, I feel good.

I usually play a 3-5-2 formation but on the odd occasion I just go gung ho and play 2-3-5 and just push everybody up front as much as I can.

Dragonfly, you play the Arsenal way. I wonder if you play because you like Arsenal or if you like Arsenal because you play?

Any way I like to have speedy full backs, wingers and strikers. I play a passing game but I dont over pass. I often try to shoot long range. My left winger has to be a right footed player that cuts in a la Rosicky, Hleb, Pires etc.I usually play Kuby's 4-4-2 but I set the wingers arrows to cut inside and leave the outside for the fullbacks.

For early master league play, i use 4-4-2, with two deep midfielders, two slightly wider attacking midfielders and two strikers. Helps keep passing short for the muppets you start with. No point sprinting on the wings as they get knackered in one half!

One of the two DFM's has an attacknig arrow pointing back towards his own nets to hopefully provide cover against the counter.

Works quite well for me...

It's a mix of having to adjust to the improved AI (increased cheating) over the years and imitating the Wenger Way. On the ISS games and older PES games, I used to play a more direct and faster - always having a finger on R1 - style of game where I would continuously press and dive into tackles, but tackling became more difficult without fouling. My brother still plays that way, but he's good at defending and timing his tackles, but because I play a more possession game, he fouls me a lot - basically Arsenal vs Bolton - but he's really good at that style of play and me at mine, so we tend to cancel each other out.

I tend to play more direct when i get the ball i fly at the opponent.
The COM tends to pass the ball round the back, waiting for an opening i just like to attack, usually leaving me short at the back.
I am usually play with Liverpool and admit i rely on torres and gerrard a bit to much. But i do mix it up now and, try long shots then try to walk it in =) I do use my wingers and the flanks quite alot.
