For PES2010 ONLINE, I think it would be a good idea if.....
It would be a great feature online if Konami were to set optional 'Team Banding' for online play in Room Management.
If you create a Match Room you could opt to set the game so your opponent could only select a team in the same category as you, for example, if I chose Newcastle the opponent may choose from Spurs, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid etc... in the same category.
Or if I chose AC Milan the opponent could choose from Inter, Man U, Barca etc...
If you wanted you do NOT have to 'Turn On' team banding and play as Stoke V Barcelona if you so wished.
This would mean whoever your opponent is will have to play as a 'more or less' equal team as you, making it more competitive for BOTH parties.
Implementing such a feature in Room Management would make it more fair & sporting for those who would like to use Hull, Stoke without having to play against Barcelona.
Band A Teams:
Barcelona
Man U
Chelsea
Inter
Real Madrid
AC Milan
etc...
Band B Teams:
Newcastle
Spurs
Atletico Madrid
Aston Villa
Marseille
Celtic
Villareal
etc....
Band C Teams:
Hull
Stoke
Fulham
etc etc...etc...
Perhaps the same for International Teams?
If Konami were to implement such a service it would make for a less annoying time playing online!
My suggestion is based on me choosing a 'Middle Of The Road' teams online, only for some kid to 9/10 of the time choose Barca etc... Over the last few years I have read on various PES forums people debating "It's not fair playing as Celtic V Brazil".
It would put to bed the Noob factor once and for all.
