Super Strikers

I've just wound up a (many season) master league where I ended up with F.Torres & Rooney as my 2 main strikers and I can't think of a better strike pair in all my previous PES master league adventures. Their stats are scary and, with the exception of Di Stephano in PES4, they have banged more in for me than anyone.

I was wust wondering if I've missed any strikers of a similar calibre in PES5 and would like to know the best forward line you've ever had.

Everyone has different preferences, I have heard playing Peter Crouch is pretty good but I haven't bought him cos I like fast forwards and play no wingers. What ever works for you.

My pairing is Carmillo & Rooney<----Just bought him
My mate has Ronaldinho & Rooney

I know its "slighty" off topic but Xavi is the best Midfielder for me.

I'm up to 2009 so far and my front 2 are Tavano & Berbatov, I try and avoid buying the big stars like Rooney, Henry etc.

I only use a striker, Babel, but Rooney play like AMF and is like another forward for me.....also I have Tevez, F.Torres (amazing) and A.Smith.....

Agreed, people have different ideas of what a good partnership is.

Crouch and Henry works a treat, the link up play is superb

In my ml i have got Rooney and Saviola as my front two you cant get much better both are fast as fuck. Even though both of them arn't big they win most balls in the air, they link up like bread and butter.

With Liverpool I've adapted a new 4-3-3 type system and have Babel up top on the left, Djibril Cisse in the centre and Sinama-Pongolle/Tevez as SS. Pongolle is bloody brilliant on the game by the way.

marlon harewood is by far one of the most improving players in the game.everyone of his stats is at least top 80's with quite a few in the mid 90's. my strikeforce is harewood cf landroam (shop) lwf and robinho rwf with kaka and nihat followin up as attacking midfielders. attacking formation i no but two quick wingers to get crosses in for harewood and they also possess good shots should the cross be cleared two excellent distant strikers of the ball.

milan baros and fernando torres and alan smith they are all super strikers apart from all the obvious 1s they are the best

Imbrahimovic and Rooney, excellent strike pairing. After the first master league season when I had these two together I had rooney as top scorer in the league and Ibrahimovic as top scorer in the WEFA championship. That was on 5 stars so I was chuffed, the previous season I had it on 4 stars and didn't have a top scorer in any of the competitions.
