It damn well better be in the European version. If not, then Konami can do one. I'll go out and buy FIFA just to spite Konami for their stupidity.

I may pick PES up on release, if Tesco or Asda have a good offer going.

A ref on the PESfan website who has the full Euro XBox version has confirmed that Top Player is the highest, although perhaps there is the possiblity to unlock superstar?

^ The same thought crossed my mind as i seem to recall this was the case in pes 4 or 5 i think. The one with the pes points included - then you could "buy" the 6 stars difficulty. Cheers mate

^It could be. But the same people on wenb said that although top player is the highest difficulty, the AI is smarter and harder. I hope it is true.

Okay, there is no way do unlock anything in the console demos... I did try it. You have no room for editing anything. The european Console-Demo is locked at Top-Player.

The PC-Demo can be modded. I did this last week. I have even changed Germany into "Bayern Munich" and made the Goalnet beeing red and white. Another thing I did was to "unlock" the Superstar difficulty and enable Penatly's. I also did raise the game time from 5minutes to 10minutes.

^ Fair enough mate. That being said - I haven't played the pc demo, so i wouldn't know the differences. But let's just leave it here.

Maybe they did optimize the european "Top-player" to be like the "Superstar" mode in japan... Or the Superstar mode is Top-player in japan and it just has another easier difficulty to have more room for beginners.
