completely agree with your point, it is definitely more balanced gameplay and less ai cheating occurs. The game runs alot smoother as well.

Yeah but, if you play -2 in single player all the time, when you go to play multiplayer, the speed will be set back to default won't it? Doesn't that make it quite difficult to adjust to playing at a faster pace online?

Hi All, will I be able to change my Top player master lg to superstar or will I have to start again, I didnt even get the superstar option when It asked about the difficulty level, I always put PES on the hardest level available, and top player was the highest, is it like the old ones where I have to unlock it or buy it

I only play offline ML and multiplayer with mate and little brother , they agree -2 is the best setting although it took some time convincing them. Online holds no interest for me apart from patches and dlc.

playing on SS level with the default ML team is horrible (just because they are so poor, and the COM are using imported teams that I have in D2 so I get owned), however playing say in the Copa Lib with a real team on SS with a -2 speed, plus no pass assist bars, and no other assistance other than AI tackling to hard, is brilliant, so much fecking fun. and very competitive, you deserve every goal you score as the COM keeper pullls off some amazing saves. And defending is very challenging but once you start to get it, its really rewarding.

-2 feels so weird like stuck in a time travel where players are sometimes sliding and everything is just so.......urgh! GIves me a headache

haha love opinions i find it really smooth in the movements. one gripe is the COM will sometimes get a ball do a random shuffle with the ball where you can't get it off him...kind of like online when the other player just gives up but does not disconnect the game and the COM takes over and will move for a few steps. have noticed that at -1 though as well.

do you play with any assists on abu? as I have found my defending has improved a lot with out the assisted clearance which I had been using up until yesterday.

i play with with all assists on as i'd doubt it'd impact defending as it just means the cpu will blast the ball out in right times and so far it hasn't affected me .
i think konami should take away game speed and adjust the speed according on how long you play the match - 15 mins should be slow where you can pass the ball around, 30 mins should drag in a good way and 5 mins should be quick paced. Nahhhh it'll never work

I also put slide tackling on hard as it is useful as the cpu make good slide tackles wheras in pes 2011 i always conceded a penalty or a free kick

The ai on top player should be put on the sex offenders list the amount of times ive been raped is unreal!! Lovin it on ss ive had 3-4 games on it now and while its a big jump from professional its really enjoyable. Have had only 1 draw and soon to be 3 defeats as barca are currently hiding me it is mainly down to some naieve play from me coupled with i can barely score in the bozz with the autoshoot!
