When a good backup is loaded, a blue border/half-boarder appears on the screen.

When a bad backup is loaded the border can be red or green. Any idea on what these mean? I need to tell what I'm doing wrong, I often get a green border.

green - magic swap in unsure about the backup but will still try to load it. if the game loads, it's all good if not burn it again.

red - bad burn.

or it could mean that the disc is more than 650 mb, which happened in my case

Marktruman, what game did you burn which was more than 650mb? My we7 was 700mb image and that was ok.

i burnt pes3, it was 704 meg, and didnt load, then i took some intro files out, and it wos 620, then it booted but then went onto a blank screen

What files did you take out? i may try it myself.

You shouldn't need to take anything out. Burn as an image.

someone said that an image over 650-700 meg would not work on swap magic, i took out one of the .pss files, and the date,f,s file i think.

I've since found out that green most usually means poor quality cd-r's.

DVD Region X ???????????????????
