You ever been to a barber and wondered where the hair that gets cut off goes? Well there you go. Your answer.








Or its someone who plays between either:
between defence and goalie
or
defence and midfield

and basically lives up to his name - he sweeps up. Collects the ball from broken down attacks from the opposition and plays it forward.

That's what I've come to believe anyway. I may be wrong.

Sweeper is the last man of ur defense. Theres no sweeper when playig in a line of 4 defences for example.

A libero is the defender that acts between defence and midfield.

A sweeper is the defender that acts between defence and goalie.

Check your defenders info to see who can play best as sweeper.
