switching controllers ps3

This is a question for the PS3 version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 ( PES 2009 )


When I play PES 2009 on my PS3with for example a friend we often play against each other in the friendly mode. I play Man Utd and he Arsenal. But now we want to play a self made Cup. I play again Man Utd en he Arsenal and we both come in a group for example

Group 1 Group 2
Man Utd ( player 1 ) Arsenal ( player 2)
Inter Ac Milaan
Real Madrid Barcelona
Chelsea Ajax

Now I have to play with Man utd against Real Madrid. But it’s not possible for my friend to select Real Madrid with his controller to play against each other. I now have to play against the computer controlled Real Madrid en he only can watch the game or play with me in the same team. Is there a Patch or can anyone make a patch so the controller can be switched to the other side? I know for the pc version there a serverkits with makes it possible to do so.

This ( problem ) is not only in Cup mode but also in Champions League and League mode!!

I hope there is a solution or a solution can be found.

When setting up the cup it asks you how many players will there be. I would recommend setting it so that the number of players equals the number of teams at the tournament.
That way you can always play any team. In case there is a game you would not like to play you can set the controller to manager so that you don’t have to play that game, the downside is that you would still have to watch it.
