Bloody hell - This is a head mangle. So Im setting up my formation - I`m in "Lineup" What do the numbers mean on the pitch? every time I go over another player the rest of the players numbers change?! And what is the star after player names?

What I`m seeing is that when you go to play any game if you want your players to do be either defence/balanced or attack minded you need to change your line up to what players you want - depending on the form arrows I guess - and then the LAST thing you do is go to set formation/Player index and change their attack level card to how you want them to play. FOR EVERY MATCH. I would rather this be set for my formation then for each player as to save time

I cant see any other way around it?

I think the number indicates how good the player can play the position where he's placed. If you select a striker and remove the cursor down to the midfield for instance, then the number reduces (because a striker is bad at playing in the midfield) I think if the star is "bright" then it indicates that the player has one or more of these famous cards (special abilities)

The numbers on the pitch refer to teamwork.

Edit your team and formation in the master league menu, not while setting up before the match.

How about saving your game plan in the data Management Section? when i finish a match, then want to paly another one, and go to Data Management Section to Upload my saved plan, it only loads the Formation plan but doesn't load any changes I made to the plan like substitutions or mark settings or wtever !!!
