Team Motivation

I dont if anyone played ISS3 but when it first came out I considered it to be a good game until the arrival of PES3, what I want to know is ISS3 was focused around team motivation, for example you could bring on a couple of players at a certain point in the game and the whole team motivation would go up, I think there was even an arrow that showed your motivation status, does this still apply to PES3 because there is no guide to tell you that the team motivation has gone up or down except for when your playing someone else and they bring on a couple of players and you can feel yourself getting totally robbed, sometimes you dont even have to bring on players and you can feel the shift in team motivation. Has anyone else experienced this?

Cheers

Don't think so. It looks as though its been superceded by the individual player's 'Teamwork' and possibly the fluctuations in their individual Form arrows.

I don't know anyone that's suggesting the team as a whole can be effected by the introduction of new players (disruptive, like Dennis Wise?). Obviously the new players have low teamwork values until they've played their way into the side, and that will effect how well/badly they link up with team-mates around them.

I observed that when there's a newcomer, he doesn't complete most passes and crosses.

Needs to adjust to the team.

How does the teamwork stat increase over time?

I mainly play 1 on 1 with a mate, I used to play master league until I got a good team and only use that team to play 1 on 1 and most of the players in the team have nearly all the skills and all 99 attributes so bringing a new player into the team wouldnt make much difference if I bought him in the master league and played with him in 1 on 1 would it?

Bound to be more details on some thread but the more time they can get playing in the first team, the faster their 'Teamwork' level will climb to it's maximum value - i.e. the same as it was when he was settled in the team you bought him from.

It's an ML Mangaer's choice if he want to put these new players in the starting line-up, or if you would rather introduce them as subs when you might already have a comfortable lead.

Never really checked how long they take to bed in. Maybe 6-8 games?

Hence the value of pre-season friendlies. They give you four free games to bed-in the players you may have bought during the off-season.

You know, I just started today playing and haven't played for 2 weeks.

I struggled a little at first to get used to the game which I missed for so long, and I noticed the player now are more "stiff", like harder to react to the pressing of the buttons.

The game keeps real time, so does this affect why my players aren't as "controllable" and they were before when I played often?

The console has a clock, and the date/time is saved with ML games, formations, and Cups/Tournaments.

I don't think the game will play different if you take a holiday for a couple of weeks.

It's more likely that the human variable is the thing that's changed - i.e. your style has been affected by the break in playing.

Thanks for your opinions, maybe I have lost the style of playing, but that isn't what I thought.

Long long break, I'm very busy to even spend time here.
