My player can get shoved off the ball by anyone at all which is incredibly frustrating. Sometimes you see me running slowly on the wing because of that and my hope to beat a defender. It was similar with my 6'2 striker.

My player is very strong in the air and can keep the ball well with his balance, but like has been said, whenever I go in to tackle, it gets blown for a foul a lot of the time. When I'm the RS and Phatmann is LS, there's a good partnership there. While my player has over 90 finishing and shot power, I agree that Phatmann's the best finisher in the team, got the most goals after all.

I could do with improving the pace of my player, unlocking some achievements which improve the acceleration and agility of my bigman.

My goals tally is going up quickly, think I'm around the 20-mark as of now. I like to slide the ball across the box to set the other striker, I also like to get my head on the ball as much as possible.

I did very well in a game last night until the buggers quit; scored all 4 of our goals, the last one being a very nice lob over the keeper; he was rushing out of his goal, I was clean through, just dinked it over his head with the :square: button.

Next thing we know, disconnected. :realmad:


Anyone on now?

I did bag a couple, and I got about six assists... but my finishing was pinpoint. I could pick out the point right next to the post with radar like accuracy. I'm finding it more difficult to finish since getting to five stars with my weak foot, he inexplicably uses either foot at random now.

A giant throw between the penalty area and the line is better IMO than a corner or free kick. Further out it's difficult to score, because the keeper usually collects. But here it is deadly, if you can drop it just under the bar. Neo's goal last night will hopefully be the first of many.

I can't believe I claimed that one, it hit the underside of the bar and bounced off my chest from about an inch out! Fantastic weapon to have, sure to cause problems in the opposition defence every time.

Only one of those team trophies left to get, 10 consecutive wins.

I'll be up for some matches later, just got to go in bath now, as I've just got back in from my school football match.

Thought we all played well last night, the formation went well, all linked up well attacking, and I thought overall the Man of the Session was between Dragonfly or Phatmann, both were excellent in their roles. First time I've seen Phatmann play LB; didn't put a foot wrong there, our white Evra! :cool:

Could anyone comment on how well I performed last night? Any areas for improvement? I'm always looking to improve as a player ;)

I like it up front, especially setting up goals, and getting on the scoresheet myself.Would you say I'm more effective as a centre-half or striker? ;) :thumbsup:

Sorry Bez, but neither you or DF came close to Phat. He was excellent at left back and selflessly played out of position, I don't think any of our oppositions had any luck down that side! Definitely my nomination for man of the session.

If you want to improve, I'd say your positioning/movement is your biggest problem. You're player is pretty slow but he's powerful, push up as early as possible so you can bully defenders off the ball. You don't find it easy to outpace defenders, so pushing them back will mean you don't have to. With regards to your movement, as your player is slow, you should be beginning runs before the pass comes else you're unlikely to catch up with it.

I'm up for some games now if enough people are about.

I thought playing on the wing would be good and suit me to a point.....it wasn't and doesn't. When I moved back to RS after Berry went offline I was an absolute mess. Oh dear.

Right okay, thanks for your comments, mate, I'll definately try and take those points on board for next time we play. Pace is certainly my main weakness, but then again, I make up for that in other areas such as strength and jumping, even if I do tend to concede free-kicks if I close opposition down, a little shove and they're down :/!

I'll be free to play some Club matches shortly, just got some things to do first.
